So I just very recently ate sushi.. We went to a eat all you can restaurant for my brother's birthday and when we were choosing our food I decided to get some sushi along with its sauce, wasabi. I didn't really mind the sushi (it was kinda tasteless). But I really didn't like the wasabi... I don't like it's color and it's so spicy and I find it yucky.. I also saw (i'm not sure if it's true) a wasabi flavored chocolate bar.. EWW!
Anyway, back to the sushi.. I don't hate sushi and I don't love it either.. I can eat it if I have to but if I had a choice I wont. haha. So, do you guys like sushi? and how about wasabi??
Wait, is sushi a Chinese food? Or?

I am a Chinese. But Sushi is not a Chinese food, it comes from Japan. I like eating Sushi very much. And in the past three weekends, I made Sushi at home and we all enjoyed it so much. At the beginning I didn't like wasabi because it had a different kind of spicy feeling and made me drop tears:) Later I got used to it and I like it. I find it very interesting and tasteful to eat Sushi with soy sauce and wasabi.
I love China

Sushi is a Japanese food and it consist of raw fish and rice. But I love eating maki more than sushi lol I also prefer eating sushi or maki alone or much better with a soy sauce but a big no no with wasabi. I really don't like eating spicy foods that's why

Don't judge sushi by the stuff at an all you can eat bar. It is low quality and nothing like the good stuff. I make my own to be sure it's good.
I don't like a lot of wasabi on my sushi. I use the amount of a pin head on each piece. There are also many different grades of wasabi. All you can eat places uses the cheapest there is. Mostly colored mustard and flavoring. The price goes up as more real wasabi is used and less mustard. The real stuff is expensive.

I love sushi and in general all the japanese food that I have eaten in japanese restaurants. That`s why I took pains to learn how to make sushi. I make the sushi rolls and also sahimi and nigiri. I have not tried making tempura, but I like to have it in japanese restaurants. It took me a while to get acostumed to wasabi, but as I like hot spices (not of that kind though) it didn`t take much time. I like wasabi and pickled ginger in my sushi.
