Heading back to work after 4 years off.

It will only be part time, very part time, on call even. Maybe 20-30 hours a month. However it's the first time I've really been working consistently outside my home since just before I got pregnant with my twins, who will be 3 next week. This isn't a new job to me, thankfully, but one I've done every so often for about 10 years. It's nice to be able to pick up more hours (before I would work maybe once every 3 months or so) and it's odd at the same time. I'm so used to being home and doing things on that schedule. I'm finding it a little hard to get back into the groove of needing to be somewhere at a certain time and not be able to pass the time by reading or knitting or entertaining myself however I want. Have you had a long break from working? How did you get back into the groove of it?

Welcome back to the work force. It is a good thing starting off part time so you can ease your way back in. Best of luck and I am sure you will cope, first day or two might be hard but you will find your stride quickly.
