The Mystery Cat continues...

As some of you know, I have spent today either in bed or on the couch, tended to by Willy and Khuay. They, by the way, make great nurses! I over did at the fair last night, and between the fatigue and the chest pain from the heart bridge I was pretty wiped out. But that is secondary.
I was sitting on the couch when Khuay came ambling by, with something black dangling from his mouth. Out of curiosity I got up and chased him down. He happily gave me his current gift and I was TOTALLY baffled! He brought me a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses! I don't own a pair of them, shoot I can't afford to look at them! No one has been in the house with sun glasses let alone Ray Bans! No one has the courage to come in the house without my being at the door and accompanying them because they are scared witless of Abby.
Now, with that in mind, and I haven't been to the thrift shop in weeks and besides the fact that I haven't bought anything that might have had sunglasses in them...where in the world did Khuay get them? Also, Bill wouldn't have brought them in...plus he doesn't wear Ray Bans.
I wondered what he would bring me next...well I got an answer!

I believe u have a thief in your midst, lol.Better start checking in w/the neighbors or Khuay is going to be on his way to jail,

The neighbors love the little criminal as much as I do... I can't wait for the next "gift" he purloins from the "black hole" he travels through. I don't think any of them would prosecute him, especially since the horrible neighbor that loves to sue anyone and everyone passed away last month. (that's the neighbor that sued me over that stupid sewing machine.)
I am doing much better today. I got an excellent night's sleep last night and my chest isn't hurting as much today. I was sure I was going to buy the farm yesterday and of course the first thing I worried about was my furry little fiends, all 7 of them. Thank you so much for your concern...it makes me feel even better!

I was teasing about him going to jail.I cab't wait to see what he brings in either, lol.I remember the sewing machine ordeal. At least u don't have her to worry about anymore. It's sad when people get so old & contrary. I'm old but don't think i'm contrary, lol. There may be people that would bef to differ.

He may be a klepto kitty, but how the heck is he getting out to do his dastardly deeds? I checked all the doors and windows last night to see if he could get out...and they were all closed.
He just jumped up in my lap, looked me in the eye with his quiet little "YEOW" and has snuggled down on my arms while I am answering my responses. I should have realized his talents when he started hauling my clothes through the house. Nothing like seeing your underwear hanging from the cat's mouth!

I always had cats that removed things and they permanently disappeared. I think fondly of one apple green fuzzy sock and my first cat. The sock disappeared never to be found again, even when we moved. My sister had a cat that found a hole in the wall and stashed things. House was in bad condition.

You are absolutely right! It's the only explanation since he has no other way of escaping the house. It is getting really fun waiting for him to come through with the next prize!
Khuay truly a treasured cat, I never realized when I adopted him July 13 2008, how special he would be. Come to think of it I should have realized it since it was the 8 year anniversary of my Mom's passing, she HAD to have sent him to me!!!

Now, as for your mystery cat; I can't remember, does Khuay ever go outside? Because the money I can see, but not sunglasses, especially ones that expensive. I wonder if perhaps he goes outside and snoops around on the neighbor's property and helps himself to what he thinks looks interesting. If he is always inside, then he has "talent"

I am much better now. I learned NOT to over do, the hard way.
Khuay is not allowed outside along with the rest of my cats. Khuay is a light colored darling that would burn easily and light colored cats have a tendency to get cancer if they are exposed to the sun too much.
I am going through sewing stuff so he will be home finding stuff to present me with. He doesn't have to use his "talent" for a few days. 
He even has Bill baffled! I told him about the sunglasses and the first words out of his mouth were "Those are expensive sun glsses". Then he wondered like I did where the cat got them.
I wonder what the next gift will be??? After the sun glasses, I worry that he might try to drag home a car!!!

LOL I love your kitty stories WHEN I have the time to sit down and read them! It is a total mystery where he got those sun glasses from and it's even a bigger mystery what drew him to them and want to take them home! About your questioning what he'll bring home next..... sometimes some questions are better off unasked! LOL
