The Battle Is Already Won

The message last Sunday, July 22, 2012, during our church worship service was about "The Battles of Life". Our pastor narrated her mother's life as an illustration for the message. I too, have my own share of these battles. My wife went astray, was hooked into drugs, and mismanaged the family finances. I tried to pull her out from the pit of self-destruction and shame, but the external pressures were too much that even the children were already affected. She eventually had to leave us. For three years, I was alone, rebuilding our finances and taking care of three lovely daughters. Relatives and friends supported me as I was standing. Today, I am debt-free but still financially struggling. But this is an accomplishment, Level One is completed, moving on to Level Two. How about you, what battles have you won already?
