the fear of death

Have you ever felt scared about death? A lot of people said that death is not something to be scared about since death is the start of being together with God and Christ. But, a lot of us don't really calm down after hearing that statement. We are living day to day without the security of being alive the next day. For me, I am more afraid about the death of my family and friends. I'd rather die than see my loved ones die. I do not think that I am mature enough to bear life without them. Have you guys ever thought of the concept of death. Has it frightened you?
