um, it is about telemarketing that irritates people sometimes. You never know in what mood the person is in and what they think about telemarketing. And it is a political view. I think people don't want to discuss politics with somebody whom they don't know.

That might be it, I could really careless whom they are voting for. I think the entire survey is a waste of money myself, I mean really people can say 1 thing and do something else

Hello ladystill and welcome to myLot. I have answered a few of those calls but will not any more. I have answered the question and they keep asking the same thing n so many different ways that i have ended up hanging up on them too. I'm sure that the people like you are just doing their job. The people wanting the survey have probably given you a list of questions too. It's like they don't like the answer you gave them so they keep asking until your not sure what your talking about..

I have started hanging up on them because the first few I would give my thoughtful answers and part way through they would tell me that they had enough people with my views and were looking for other people which tells me that they are going to call until they get the results they want not what is really out there. Good Luck with the job- a job is a job now days.

Although I will vote, I will not be voting for either of the two front runners in the Presidential election. When I get the list of candidates for the election, I will check each one to determine if they voted in favor, or supported the bailouts, the stimulus, Health Care Reform, cash for clunkers, or the home loan modification program. I intend to vote against every single individual Democrat, or Republican, or any other party, that voted in favor of ANY of these programs. As to the Presidential election, I see absolutely no difference between the two. Romney is exactly like Obama. Obama is exactly like Romney. In fact, the Obama-Care legislation was based on Romney's MassHealth policy. And both have over spent, sinking the country into debt. Without a viable alternative, why choose one bad politician over another bad politician? My view is this. If I vote for a bad politicians and he wins, then I'll spend the next 4 years hearing about all the bad policies he makes, and people saying "You voted for him!", and I'll have to agree, I did. Instead, I'd rather not vote, and no matter which bad politicians wins, I can say "Hey you voted for Obama, is this is your fault.", and I'm right, because I didn't vote for him. This is exactly why I didn't vote for McCain or Obama in 2008. McCain wasn't any better than Obama, so we would have had bad policies either way. Thankfully since Obama won, I can laugh and point my finger at everyone that voted for him. The economy is slowing down, the unemployment is still high, Obama has spent more money in 4 years, than all the presidents in the history of the US combined, and our credit rating is crashing, the health care policy is drastically driving up costs, at the same time that companies are promising to cut their health insurance altogether.... But it's not *MY* fault. I didn't vote for him. It wasn't anyone I voted for doing all this, so I'm ecstatic.
