I am already awake before 5 this morning. When I heard somebody opened the door of the other room, room of my group mate. I heard my mate from the other room asking "How did you get inside?" My heart beats really fast, I am trembling, I don't know what to do. I prayed. Then I felt the man as he came to our room. A man holding a jungle knife came in. He immediately asked my mate who sleeps near the door to give him money. My mate gave him the money that she has. He never bother to ask me for anything. He leave immediately. We are just thankful that he did not harm us. I thought we are safe in this place. But things happened when we least expected it.

Ohh!!.. that's terrible. How did you get inside anyway? well, never mind about that, first thing to do is report it to the owner of the house and ask if he/she can solve this problem. I suggest, you start checking/looking for a new boarding house, in case this problem can never be trace then you and you're boardmate are not safe in that place. .

That sounds realy, really scarey! I am happy this person only took some from your roomate money and took off! I am happy nothing worse happened! It easily could of if the man wanted it to be! It sounds like there is not much security around the boarding house or this person somehow got threw security! How ever it happen I would not feel safe in that boarding house anymore!

ARIES, I am sorry that you had to experience such a frightening thing but I am truly glad that you came through it without getting hurt. Things do happen when we least expect them. You were right to pray.

Yes, roberten! Actually, that was the first thing I do. When I heard my mate from the other room asked,"How did you get in?" my heart beat fast as if it would explode. "God please help us." was the first thing I was able to say that time. Actually, I really wake up very early every morning, Say 4:30 or 4:45. But on that day, since it was Sunday, I decided not to stand up yet because my mate who was sleeping near the door might be disturbed. We don't have a bed, we just use some foam mattress on the floor. So I really heard it when someone opened the door of the other room. I was thinking already about it. Who woke up earlier than me? Then everything went so fast.

Thanks be given that no harm came to you! Money can be replaced but not life. You must seek a new place to live right now. As you explain, the thief came through a back door that is not well done. Maybe the owners of the house should seal the door meanwhile. One door (the fron one) should be enough.

That was really terrible and thanked God that no one got hurt. That was really scary and should reported to authorities for security and proper action to do. We can really know where those bad people will attack so better get ready, alert and aware all the time. Keep safe everyone.

That was seriously shocking to me, but it does happen. I am sad to know it took place, and that you had to go through that evil event. I am praying for you and for your mate that it never happens again, and that he turns himself in so he never does that again. Or maybe a serious lesson in rehabilitation. People must be pretty desperate there as well... I am hating how things in this world are getting. It is so hard now to trust anyone but we have to keep on... I hope that after this you and your mate are doing ok...

Thanks codymac. At some point, I would like to understand why other people would resort to this kind of act. Poverty? Family? But because of him, everything that his fellow villager are doing in order to keep our stay on their place safe, was totally wasted. Now, we have to find another place in the town proper.

Thank you for the reminder neil. Yes we have our door locked but the problem is the architectural design of the house seems to have a problem. The burglar was able to open the back door when he lifted the window cover.

Security is important in the places where we choose to live. Nowadays, there are people who take advantage and we just need to be careful.

OMG, that is so terrible, thank goodness none of you were harmed. Did you guys recognize who that is? How was he able to get inside? If he was able to get inside and immediately get into the rooms where you guys are it's a possibility that he's just from around and he knows the comings and goings of everyone there. I hope you guys find a safer place ASAP.

Thanks for the concern Raine. We really need to find a new place. We did not recognize him because he put some kind of cloth to cover his face leaving only his eyes open. It is dark in the room because I happened to put my towel in the window. It is only 5 am in the morning when this thing happened.

Things always happens when we expect least in life. These are all accident or immediate happening like situation. It was all good that he did nothing and went out without hurting anyone. Some are just hardcore that they leave no one. Some are just for the sake of money, and some just do for other much needed purpose. Well I categorize this robber in category two or three. Third group won't like to hurt anyone, won't like to play with someone life. And for that life too he must have committed this crime. May be for his loved ones, he had to do this sacrifice a quick money. While for the second one they are lazy and want a quick money at whatever cost. While if I consider the first one, they don't know what life is as they are not in love with anyone so they go out and kill as to have fun or just to have a relaxation time just as a common man think to go out to have fun at beach, to go out of stress, such people go out to have stress free, even they don't know why they are doing this and they don't like for what they have done after crime. But what is done is done.
