Till yesterday there was no cure of HIV or AIDS. But yesterday an HIV patient Timothy Ray Brown, 47, an American from Seattle, Washington, got cured of HIV through a bone marrow transplant. He is now launching a new foundation to boost research toward a cure. The amazing fact is, the transplant was not intended for his HIV, it was for his leukemia. But after successful transplantation, the doctors found that he is free of HIV virus, which means, there is no trace of HIV virus in his body.
So, Timothy Ray Brown is now HIV negative and a new era for the treatment of HIV has just begun.

I am very glad to have read this news. And although probably there´s still much experimenting to do, it´s an important step.

I read this in our news yesterday.
Sometimes I think that some people are having favor of illnesses like AIDS, cancer and others. It is incredible how the science build new generations for everything and at the same time some sicknesses are impossible for fighting.
I hope it is true. More lives saved, better for the future. Every mind is precious at the moment, when money roll world, people, everything. May be someone will build a better, new begging.
