I could appreciate my new job as a computer technician because I have more time for myself and for my family and I can work anytime anywhere unlike being an employee with my previous jobs where I work 8 hours a day with a lot of stress from my bosses. Well I guess it pays me more than having a traditional job. At least I love my job!

I also like to learn about computer systems, programs and hardware. I want to be like those who know the defect of a certain computer by just looking at it. There are times that if my desk top is not functioning, I would do all my best to fix the problem. I also would watch everything that a technician is doing when I have it repaired. Though, I know I have a little background with online matters. This thing might be enough as of the moment.

Just continue learning, I just learn from observations and reading books. If you are determined to learn you can as long as you enjoy doing so.

I started repairing after I got married. My wife was also a techie but not with the technical, hardware and software part she's more on microsoft and photoshops, so I was challenge from then on and learned by just reading books observing my friends and gradually I have acquired the skill and now I do it for living.

My husband is also a computer technician. He has learned the skill by watching videos and tutorials. Apart from computers, he can also repair printers and cellphones. And just recently, he has learned to repair electric fan. And he all learned that by just watching videos and asking people around. Most of the times when we go to malls, he would stop at laptop repairs and would ask the technician so many questions. I would sometimes see the person irritated because of my husband's never ending questions. And I am already having second thought of accompanying him to ask question because every time we go in there, he would really ask questions and I am pretty sure that the technician in there has already memorized our face. My husband hates reading so he only gain his knowledge and skills by watching videos and asking people.
