who is on the verge of giving up school, i guess. She posted it on facebook and chatted to me about it, i am quite worried since she is not that smart, but i also think that she just doesn't try that much. I don't really know what to say but the common stuff, that it gets better, or work harder and you'll get the lesson. What else can i do? i also help her out when she gets confused with the lessons and with the assignments..but i sometimes et impatient since especially if she asks the same questions again and again to me, or something the teacher just mentioned..

Is she really feel so??? How many years left before you guys graduated?? If still years before you get graduate then I don't think it is wrong for her to stop before its too late. But if she's already half of it then it's better if she just continue with it.

I am sure if this is a colledge student or hight school. If colledge have her look into tutoring, maybe someone out there may know how to help her.. Or if she is a high school student then I would suggest alternative school. My son is doing that and really learning and doing better in school than ever before.

In the USA we have trade schools, they just train you for a certian type of job. Many times this is the best thing for a person who is not doing well in college.
It's very frustrating to have to continue doing somethng your are not good at and always being afraid of failing. I don't know if this type of education is available in your country.

That's what friends are for, to help each other. To assists or help her/him if she/he needed it and vice versa. I just hope she/he never gives up. Maybe he/she is not giving much thought about her/his studies. Tell your friend to concentrate on what your teacher's explanation. She/he could asked the teacher about a topic if he/she need some clarification.

She is your friend. So ideally you should keep helping her getting out of her problems every time she gets confused. But that's what we call ideal.Following an ideal sometimes becomes too difficult as it has happened with you. There are people everywhere who are not smart and understand a thing when it is explained to them. There mind is not sharp enough to get it.I guess, your friend falls in this category. Now it is up to you to decide whether you can afford her or not.
