By discussions posted I mean replying AND creating them. Currently I try to aim for at least 10 a day from both. Though I've only been on here 4 days I have gotten 1 dollar from JUST the 4 days of doing this. So how many do you reply/make a day? Would love to hear from you guys! Thanks! :)

Hi, I have been barely a member for two days. On my first day, I started around three discussions and responded to some. I only have .15 haha. I would like to have a dollar in my fourth day too (wishful thinking...)

hi venessapaula thats a pretty user name. I also have fun here and just wanted to say welcome to mylot. I also love meeting people from all over the world as I am sort of an armchair traveler with
my mylot and my trusted keyboard. I might be shy of money to travel anywhere and physically handicapped but I enjoy being here
and having fun with my many mylot friends.Hope you also find
mylot fun and enjoy being here for a long time too. hugs from
hatley.

Oh, and it has been quite fun hanging out here. Meeting people from everywhere just makes the whole world seem small. Thinking of how much I would earn sort of takes a backseat once I get into other's discussions. Hope to be here for years!!!

Hi, Hatley!!Thanks much. Would like to hug back, but not after I get around 500 posts??? (((hugs)))). Yup, isn't it amazing that we get to communicate and keep in touch with people of different cultures and background? Will keep in touch !

I do not keep track of how many discussions that I responded to or start myself. I just go and do if I have something that I want to write about then I will if I don't then I look for other peoples discussions and answer those ones. I don't wast my time trying to worry about how many I did or didn't do a day. I have better things to do then keep track of that.

hi shybear and do you find you make more by just mylotting and not worrying about how many of this or that you did. Also I find I have more fun here and enjoy myself more if I am not counting my
posts. after all making great friendships, caring and sharing are enriching our lives plus the earnings.

I don't look at my earnings every day but it can be up to a dollar or as little as a couple of cents because I'm always busy with my daughter all but right now that is because I'm on bed rest so I can't do anything at all so she is with family. So right now I have more time to do mylotting. But yes I find out that I make more here when I'm not paying attention to how much I'm doing and stuff. Most of the time I just do mylotting to just talk to other people and connect with them. The money is kind of extra and I use it for things that we need like clothes for the kids or paying bills.

fornevermore hi I do not count how many of anything I post as wehmn I first started I wore myself out into a headache and earned hardly aqnything. see mylot admins wants quality posts and its best to do fewer discussions so you have time to comment back on all the responses you get. I do more responding to others discussions than m making my own and I make friendshops that I value highly here. I have now this July made 27 dollars so I am on a lot here. I am retired so have time and the passion to mylot a lot. I found once
I started to enjoy myself here with all my friends I had fun and my
earnings just were so much better. wow. from hatley

Posting a discussion without having this very shiny idea that it will touch more people doesn't sound reasonable to me.
Sometimes I really have great ideas of posting a discussion in some very active category where probably lots of people would participate, but it doesn't happen very often to me to do so. Lately I am not posting that much discussions as before. Probably one for a day.
I try to focus my attention at posting responses to other discussions.
Wherever we participate we will earn, but having unsuccessful discussion where you would see how only 1-2 people participated touched of your topic is something disappointing for me, so I avoid doing it.

On days when I do not attend any other work writing for my blog/book then I do post roughly 15/20 per day. If we spend more time we can earn more. If one has to attend college/office/shop then he can attend only for a few hours. more than money--friendship--sharing of ideas is important.
For example yesterday a member asked about investing in an online investment -- a bogus company. i could advise him properly. good day.

Sometimes, i post two to three new discussions and sometimes not any single post.I make around four to five replies a day and sometimes if i am in mood of giving responses, replies i made ten replies.I think i didn't reply more than ten discussions any day.

It is advisable to post more responses --even if that discussion is deleted only one or two will go. if we start a discussion -- many --15/16 of our and others will go. especially 'mylot' related topics -- sometimes deleted for 'repetition' and also violation of guidelines -- not to discuss about earnings etc.

it depends on my mood and also if there's a topic that I can think of. usually i just respond to some of the discussions rather than putting up my own discussion

it depends on my motivation and inspiration to write. lately i have not had much time to write as i have a newborn. but normally i would post anything from 1-15 discussions. it varys pretty drastically

I have not been on here for a while, so I will have to talk about in the past.In the past I use to past sometimes 5 a week and then try to keep up with all the responses that I got, as well as answer a few discussions that my friends had made.I am on here today replying to friends discussions, trying to keep my mind busy, rather than thinking of all that is happening inmy life.So far I think that I have responded to about 15 discussions by other people.

Hi,
I have till date not counted the number of posts I have made in a day. I normally come here to have a good time.I find discussions that catch my interest or in which I have something useful to contribute and I type in my responses. I am more into responding to discussions started by other members as I often do not find new ideas to start discussions on. But sometimes when I need any help, advice or opinions from my fellow Mylotters, I come here and start a discussion. I do try to comment back on all the responses that I get. I am not so concerned about the earnings each day. When I was just new here, I would keep checking and trying to figure how much I am making each day. But not so any more. Now I am enjoying being here and that is what matters most to me. The earnings are a very nice bonus in my opinion. It is good to know that you set out each day with a target in mind. Also, a dollar in a short time is really nice. Keep earning friend.
