My cat is 14 yrs old. This year, 2012, on June 1st he was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma - CANCER!
The vet was sure he would die. Told me that it is a very fast moving cancer and no cure or treatment that is effective.
I had heard stories of people treating and curing their cancers with Cannabis Oil, so I decided to use my cat as a test subject to prove or disprove the theory.
I love my cat. He is like part of my family after all this time. He has seen my children grow up, in fact my youngest is who begged me to keep HIM, as I wanted the black one, but she picked out the white one from the litter and begged me to keep him. She named him, but he ran from both the kids. He was the shy one. The black one was mauled very well and he loves everyone and will put up with anything. Eventually, when the kids grew up and moved out, he, the white one, attached himself to ME. So, he is MY cat now.
So, treatment regimen; My cat was unable or unwilling to eat by himself at this point, and was very thin and I could see he was dehydrated. The day previous to bringing him into the Vet, when they told me that what I described could only be 1 of 2 things - a tooth abscess or cancer, I told her he wasn't eating and needed hydration and what should I do in the meantime until his appt the next day. She said to mix his crunchy food with some warm water, make a slurry, and suck it up in a syringe and squirt it in his mouth to feed him. I could also squirt extra water in his mouth that way to hydrate him. So, that is what I did for the first evening until his appt with the vet in the morning to officially diagnose him. Oh, and I figured, just in case it was cancer, that I had better get started with his treatment, so I gave him his first dose of Oil, too. It definitely made him feel better right away.
So, when I took him in to the Vet, his Right Eye was bulging up and out somewhat. When the vet opened his mouth and saw the big CANCEROUS TUMOUR he said it was Squamous Cell Carcinoma right away, and the bulging eye was the tumour spreading and growing upwards as well as across his throat, making it difficult for him to eat and use his tongue at the back of his throat. It was on his right side, at the back, where his bottom and top jaw meet. Very red, angry looking and ugly.
I told him what I was going to treat him with, and he said that if it didn't work and I wanted him put down to bring him back in, which is the only thing he thought was going to happen. He gave me no medications for him whatsoever. I believed that the Oil would hopefully cure him AND give him pain relief also. And it DID!
So, June 1st was a Friday. By Saturday night the eye bulging has lessened significantly, and by Sunday it was GONE! So it gave me HOPE that I was doing the right thing. *WOOT, WOOT!1*
Meanwhile, I have him locked in the bathroom, as his temporary hospital room, with his own water dish, food dish, and litter box, so I can monitor what goes in and what goes out. We do have 2 cats remember, and his brother, the black one is a big consumer if you know what I mean. lol So, he has a bed in there, too, that he made for himself on top of my hand towels , so I usually put a Tea Towel on top there so he doesn't hair up all my towels. I would bring the canned cat food they gave me at the Vet's and some water and the syringe and feed him. She said that using that cat food would make it so I didn't have to get as much into him, since I had to feed him with a syringe.
He never used his food or water dish, he only ate and drank what I gave him with the syringe, but after I fed him, I put him right beside his litter box and the good, sweet boy he is, he used it. This proved to me that I was getting enough into him, if he had enough to excrete. Mostly it was only pee, but still, a good sign. And never once did he make a mess anywhere else. For the most part, he slept ALOT, and was only awake when I fed him or came in just to check on him and pet him and tell him I loved him.
So, he started getting better! WOOT! I gave him his Oil dose, at first only once a day at night, but once I got the 'dreaded diagnosis' I stepped up the dosage to twice daily. He was very stoned! And he slept alot. But sleep is healing, right? After a few days more, he started to give me a hard time feeding him with the syringe. He was getting stronger and started to fight me! WOOT! So, I offered him a "Tempations Treat", and said to him, "Well, if you don't want me feeding you, then can you eat yourself yet?" HE ATE ONE! So, I ran and got more. HE ATE A HANDFUL of them! WOO HOO! From then on, I didn't feed him with the syringe, but I fed him handfuls of the Treats - as much as he would eat. I still gave him a bit of water from the syringe, after his oil dose, to help wash it down so he wouldn't spit it out. Not like it tastes really good or anything, but it is medicine, so it was what was best for him - OBVIOUSLY.
So, exactly one week later, on June 8th (also a Friday), I took him back to the vet for an exam. I was looking in his mouth, and I saw the major reduction in the size of the tumour, and he was now eating on his own, too, but I felt that I was too close to him and I was biased. Maybe I saw only what I wanted to see and it wasn't as good as I hoped. I wanted an outside opinion from a professional that had seen the Tumour at it's worst. IN ONE WEEK It had shrunk from the size of almost 2 "Toonie's" (our Canadian 2 dollar Coin) down to the size of a less than a quarter, but bigger than a dime, maybe the size of our nickel, at most.
My vet said, jokingly, "Are you sure you brought in the same cat? Did you switch cats on me?" I said, "No, of course not, you know this is the same cat". He said, "Because the Tumour is ALMOST GONE now!". WHEW! Big sigh of relief from me, I am succeeding in curing his cancer! BIG HAPPY DANCE!
So, at that point, I reduced his Oil dose down to only once a day for a few more days, then every other day for a few more days, then stopped. I am happy to say, he is now TOTALLY CURED, and it is near the end of July. His coat is shiny, moreso than I ever remember it, he is spunky again, and acts like a bloody kitten......AT YRS OLD!

I didn't buy it. I made it myself. Anyone can, just go to YouTube and do a search for "Run From the Cure" and you will see. Also, the dosages and testimonials are at phoenixtears.ca. That is how I found out.

Not if you grow it yourself organically. Then you know the medicine you make is pure and the proper strain. If you do buy it, then ask what strain it is, and if they use pesticides or herbicides. Don't use it if they do. You want organic clean medicine.

I am absolutely stunned! You did the most amazing job!!! I firmly believe in holistic medicine and this reaffirms my beliefs. I am SO happy for you. I wish I had known about this years ago, too, as someone else said. One of the cats I've had was 19 when his kidneys went. (Nothing would have helped that, I know) I treated him in a similar fashion as you with the eye dropper feeding and I slept on the couch with him because I had to carry him to the litter box during the night and hold him so he could go. The box was next to the couch but he was very weak. It was then I knew I had to let him go. I did have one cat with mammary cancer. It was extremely invasive and a most horrifying and heartbreaking experience. Anyway, I am absolutely amazed. I know how great you must feel. What a job! Congratulations!

You are an amazing person, AnnieO! I have heard many people say how they love their pets but it takes a crisis to bring out the people who REALLY know what loving their pet is all about. You are a great cat mom. I admire your perseverance in the face of devastating odds.

That's so wonderful to hear Annie!
Our pets are our babies, and even more so when our own move out. I'm so glad that you found something that actually was able to help him. You may have discovered the cure for this type of cancer too!
Keep us updated on the old boy!

So what you're saying is that this oil cures ANY cancer? Amazing! Jim just learned a few months ago that he has rheumatoid arthritis...he's taking Tramadol now for the pain, but he's still in considerable pain, poor guy. I'm giving him back and leg massages pretty frequently now, but I think the VA is going to have to up his dosage. His next appointment is in August. Maybe I'll look up his video on YouTube, since you mentioned that he still takes doses because of other pain issues.
So glad to hear that your kitty is doing awesome now-I think maybe he's using up one of those nine lives that cats are supposed to have, right?

WOW, thanks. So he is 72! I am starting to think of him as an 'old guy' now, too. He seems to love me to bits, because I swear he knows that I saved his life. I am just SO glad he is still around and I didn't have to lose him.

Darn it! I didn't see these responses until now. My apologies.
Yes, our pets are part of the family. And it really didn't take too much to do. Well, yes it did, but I love him, so of course I was willing to try to cure him if I could. I was very hopeful, but still skeptical, but he proved it IS a cure for cancer.

Yes, it was a fair bit of work, but your loved ones are worth it, don't you think? I certainly do! And yes, I am sooo happy it paid off. He is healthier now than he has been in a very long time. I was hopeful, but at his advanced age, and the advanced stage of the cancer, I wasn't sure I would cure him and feared that I would have to bring him back to the vet to be euthanized. But we fought and we WON! Thanks for the support, it is much appreciated.

Yes, me too. I only discovered this in the last year or so. I wish I had known when my Mom had cancer. I knew people used Cannabis to alleviate symptoms of cancer treatment (chemo, radiation, etc). I've been seeing videos and testimonials and reading scientific journals and case studies that have proven that it cures all types of cancers. You can either EAT IT or RUB it on your skin for skin cancer. The main video that showed the most information was called "Run From the Cure". I forget, are we allowed to post links?

Wow, first of all this is the first time I hears about pets having cancer. Because cancer are usually caused by mutated cells that is a product of our cells mutating itself because of some biochemical substance. You did a pretty good job there in curing your cat from the deadly cancer. I don't think many people could have done the same. Now take good care of your cat and do continue the treatment a little while more as there may still be leftover of the cancer cells which may cause another cancer attack. This is pretty possible as many human patients experienced the same thing. Be careful there.

Yes, I am aware that cancer often comes back, so I check him every week. And I have given him a dose a little while ago, just preventatively and only a tiny dose. Thanks!

I agree with you totally!
I think the cancer industry is big business now, and the pharma industry looks at us like CASH COWS! It disgusts me!
