In my country, the use of cannabis is illegal despite of its accepted medical uses. For now the possession of of it is not allowed therefore it is punishable by law.

Well if it will be legalized, it is important that there is a sect in the government who should monitor it's use only in small amounts. Yes, you have a point.

It won't be legalized because the government can't make a profit on it.

I do tend to agree with you that this is one of the main reasons that it has not been legalized. It could be taxed, but the thing is that it is also something that is very easy to grow on your own and what is grown at home would never be able to be taxed.

There are certain states in the US that allow the use of the plant for medical purposes. I think if the doctors have found out something that can help a sick person with the use of the hemp then, I think it should be regulated by the physicians themselves. We know that the abuse of using it is not healthy. And getting these to the wrong hands would mean real danger among the people most especially our children.

in some countries it may be already legal but here in my country I would say that it should not be legalized. There's no plausible reason for it to be legalized, there ain't no use.

No, I don't think it should be legalized. There are plenty of other pain killer medicines out there, so there's really no need to use it for that. And while it is, as you said, very common & easily available, legalizing it would only make the problem worse.
