She asked me to call Monday, saying she wants to make a decision. So I called today just a few minutes ago, she said she has one more interview Wednesday, then she will call my references. I just think shes pushing it off to see if there is someone else that fits the job. I know she kept bringing up the amount of jobs I have, and I think that may be the line there (I know I want to job, and arrange it, but a friend said look at it and they dont know me and think that). But we will see, I called and she sees I;m interested but I just feel I'm being pushed to the back burner or the last resort. I am still going to keep applying to other jobs, I just applied to the local SPCA.

you have to keep trying hon, there is an old saying that no news is good new. I think if you didn't have a chance in hell she would have told you by now

I have been applying to other places, but I hate the waiting games. I dont want to wait for one job to find out I dont have it, but I really want that job as it would save me money, while learning as well. Just feels like shes dragging it out, to find someone else but we will see shes suppose to call my references this week.

by her saying that she has more interviews on Wenesday, that makes me feel like she is looking elsewhere and that you didn't get the job either. you are smart to keep applying to more jobs. hope you get the SPCA job. sounds like it would be a perfect fit for you.

That's how I see it as, since she said to call Monday and she would have the results,a nd then now its Wednesday. I just think it;s because of the number of jobs I work, as she keeps bringing it up. But Im not giving up my two jobs I make $12, and $15 an hour at, and work 2 - 8 hours a day for a $10.25 an hour job for 25 hours a week. I'm just going to keep applying elsewhere, the SPCA is part time as well and it working with animals, feeding, cleaning the cages, etc.

oh sad to hear that my friend! :(
I think that's one of the most common situation an employee encounter whenever they are applying.
Don't loose hope ricki!
if they will not hire you, there is only one reason i want you to see...
That's not the best place for you...
Maybe there is a place set for you where you will grow in all aspect!
Just be positive :) soon you'll have a job!

I don't know, for some reason I don't really get that from what you are saying. The fact she said after that interview she'd call your references... It sounds that atleast she is interested in you. She may be a little iffed with your many jobs, but since you say you've had balanced more then one job at once for years, maybe she will see this and realize you are serious about working there.
Have you told her there is a chance you could be laid off from your other job yet?
