So this is a property company whereby I take back the lists of owners and call them whether they have anymore property to sell or rent, each will be paid per piece. The only thing is I have to pay my own phone bills which is about RM100 a month. I want to do it as I have calculated the plus and minus but my parents fully against it. What do you think?

I wonder where you found such a job, it is really nice to if it is real one. If it is on odesk.com then I am sure it is a good job and congratulations for that. You look grown up in your picture and I think your parents should allow you for doing the job. Have a nice day.

That sound like a okay way to make money . I can see why you would be interesting , I would try it as long as at the end of the month it cover my phone bill expense and give and I have money left over . I think you should give it a try and see how things turn out .

It can make money for a long term, I have calculated, and this is not a scam company as I have received my salary on last Monday.

Do you haver the money to pay for the phone bills or will your parents have to help you? You must ask yourself whether you will be able a accept the stress of the job. Would you be on a comission basis or you get paid for each phone call you make?

They have help for the partially amount first month, I will go by myself the next, it can cover my phone bills and some money left over, but its not much to go for entertainment like watching movies. I am being paid on commission basis depending on the list they give me, some owners have a lot of properties to sell or rent.

You said a long time ago that you wanted try your own business so suppose you should just do it. What is best for you, you will find out and even if your parents are against it they will certainly come around to your way of thinking if they see you happier than ever before. Of course anything we do is challenging and never easy but this is how we learn. You will need to give it a reasonable amount of time. I suggest you keep your records accurate so you can see at a glance how profits vary as you go along. Thats what I think.

I have calculated and the profit is there, but it is a small amount, anyway I will still carry on because I am doing something I like, hoping that the money will grow soon in time.

Do you not have to do a few calculations? One calculation is for daily events and the other is over a longer period of time like a rising and falling line on a graph. Graphs can be made in many ways. :-) You should see better performance as you go along but this does take time to prove. As long as you do not loose actual money, your time is the most risky investment. I think because you are doing something you like there is little risk to factor in. I like that you have shared so much of your life here. - thank you, I feel like I'm a little part of it. I want this to be a success story.

I think if you really want it, just do some discussion with your parents, they surely will accept your dreams, and your heart will calm too because they welcome you. But just ask them why they prohibit you to do it?

Because they said I will lose more than I can earn.

Since you have got paid for the work-at-home job you mentioned, you are in a position to really know if it is suitable for you. From the salary you got you can show your parents that you are indeed earning a decent income even if you are working from your home. If you can make RM1000 and pay RM100 for the cost of your phone calls, why not. The crucial matter is if the income is good enough for you.
