6 Weeks Downtime

Well, I have just found out that I am scheduled for surgery August 22nd and will be off work for 6 weeks. Perhaps that will be a good time for me to return to mylot as I'll probably be pretty bored during that 6 weeks of downtime.

hi dear Suebee sorry I didnt get to answering you before. Hope surgery goes well and of course also hope that mylotting will be a good distraction from post op challenges plus boredom. Hugs to you, thinking of you

Thank you kiran. I'm sure everything will go fine and I will feel much better and healthier afterwards. I am sure gonna like relaxing on that time off as well.

I had downtime 4 years ago for six weeks after I had a hyserctomy. Back then I was not on Mylot. I didn't jion until the following january. Anyway I wasn't on Facebook either at that time! I had a computer and I remember I was trying to make money on the internet with no luck! I spent alot of time watching tv! I did get bored at times but I got through it! I hope if I have a would have somedown time like this again,I'd be on Mylot alot more then i am now!

I had downtime about 8 years ago for the same reason, however did not spend time on the computer back then. I spent most of my time doing crafts and reading back then. I hope to do some of that this time as well, along with mylotting.

Hi, I had a gallstone surgery few years ago and had a tough time recovering from the pain fully as I did not take proper rest and hurried to attend college classes thinking I would miss important lectures. I really hope that your surgery goes well and you recover very fast. Also, hope to see you back posting here when you are completely alright again.

Thank you. I'm in no hurry to get back to work after the surgery as I have a very physical job with lots of lifting. I want to be fully recovered before I go back, but alas money dictates doesn't it? I figure posting on mylot will be a good way to spend my time and keep from getting bored1

Thank you. When I say down time I mean time not at work, lol. It will actually be a nice break for me to relax and catch up on a few crafts and such. Nothing too strenuous though!
