I love the oldies songs, 70's and 80's are my favourite

Some of my fondest memories start in the late 60s & continue through the 80s. Actually, thanks to my Aunt, I have some pretty good memories of the DooWop era of the 50s also.

I very rarely buy any kind of music these days. I tend to stream it from Spotify ("spotty fly" according to my auto correct) and similar sites. Old music still sells because it is good! No other reason. Iconic bands like Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones or Genesis have a lasting quality that I do not see in modern groups. I am sure that there is good music still about, it's just that it doesn't seem to come my way any more.

i truely believe vinyl sounds better than CD. and old style totally eclipses new style.....but then i am 48.
the 70's(Bowie, t-rex, slade) 80's(U2, wham, echo & the bunnymen) totally destroys the modern day sound.
That's not including punk, new romantic, ska etc, etc!
