There is no pressure to do research like when you have to write articles , nor is there is any definite time one has to log in to click like on PTC sites ..On discussion times one can log in when you want and start posting on all those discussions that you find interesting and earn as you post...so no wonder that people tend to get addicted to discussion sites ! what do you all say friends ?

Hi UK- There is nothing one can say much about it or contradict your statement about discussion sites. I too think the same as far as discussion sites are concerned that you can go post your comments, wherever you are comfortable and relate well. There is no need to think much about grammar and structure like you do while writing. This is more of a conversation rather postings simple answers although some times you have to answer some of the queries as well.Cheers.

Yes sunil, that is what makes it so easy for members , absolutely no stress regarding grammar , although one can try to improve oneself .This too happens with many members - I know of a member who was really bad at expressing himself when he first joined here, but now he has become really fluent in his writings.he says that it is only because of posting here continuously ...Have a great weekend sunil, although I know it is the same for you

Hi Kiran!
I can tell about myself. Whatever you have stated holds true in my case. I love discussion site(s) (I restrict myself to mylot only. You are very right that to participate in a discussion one does not need to go for research work and one could share his views without any inhibition. Getting addicted depends availability of time. Earlier I used to get much time to come here on mylot, which in the recent past has reduced considerably.

Yes kiran,
I sincerely think I should write articles to develop my skill of writing. Not necessary to earn some money by writing. But if we get money by participating in discussions on mylot or other sites it is extra gain. But we should write in any way.To get addicted to discussions sites not at all bad. It is very useful for our life.

Hi bhanu, one way to write articles which is helpful is to keep writing about anything and everything that comes to your mind on a subject on a piece of paper or on word and then organise it and format it as an article ...Discussion sites are very useful, I have learnt many things from here , also got many friends including you - all the best and enjoy your weekend

Yes, it can be addictive for those who can't control it.(^^)
I still feel even if there is discussion site that don't give reward but the members are still active. I think it is because they learn a lot and gain a lot with it. Even if with social networking websites that don't give anything but still popular what's more with discussion sites like this?(^^)

Hi, I agree with you. I come here frequently and everytime I post here I feel happy for myself. I think it is somwthing productive to discuss here. I keep my mind alert in the day time and I save my energy and talk by not talking to people much and then I type it here or in my blog.
I see people in the day talking to each other and the talk they do not productive, all they do is waste their own time. I do my work and then I keep silent. I keep the discussion part of myself to place like this.

Hi sanjay,Thanks a lot for sharing your views ,I agree that many peolle waste time gossiping and probably tearing other people to pieces LOL,, if it makes them happy so be it !
When you are on a discussion site , as you rightly point out, we only post what is relevant and that gives us happiness

Thats very true sanjay, nt many are definite about what they want out of life. Many of us may be confused at times , but inspite of it know our responsibilities and what we have to do to meet them....So, it is better to associate with such people rather than rolling stones who are not sure of anything - have a great weekend sanjay

You are welcome. I like your last line, we post here what is relevant and yes that is what gives us happiness. I see people in the workplace are tensed with their work load, there are only few people whom I like and really love to talk to.
I love people have their phylosophy of life with them.

Yeah kiran8, having all the advantages mentioned above, therefore we are free to do discussion posting randomly and comfortably here. I enjoy most in discussions posting as well. There is no time restriction for me to write discussions and comments here has become the great attraction to keep me to stick to this site for such a long time
I haven't come across any site that is so suitable pretty for people who like to spend their leisure here whenever they are free and earn penny at the same time. I hate those sites that will ban the account if we do not log in for a week or a couple of weeks. It seems how stiff and impersonal they are compared to our beloved site.
Happy posting and have a nice day

Hi ikbooi, how have you been ? Nice to have you sharing your views here ,What you say is true about banning people when they do not log in, in fact it happened with me in the beginning since I never logged in for almost 5 months after registering and posting on a few discussions ...thanks a lot and happy mylotting,m enjoy your weekend

I agree, but there is no discussion site that is more interesting than mylot
I haven't found any forum site that looks like mylot and as interesting as mylot.
This is the only forum/discussion site I know that everyone can participate in one discussion simultaneously (no limit and no matter how old the topic is)

Hi jaiho, I too am of the same opinion.I love the site format , it is very easy to use and user friendly !I too like the idea of pulling out 4 year old discussions and add on, and many a times they get a lot of responses from other members as well - all the best and thanks a lot for sharing your views

Discussion sites are addictive especially those that pay a member's post, just like here in mylot. Aside from the money that attracts members to post, they learn a lot from the sites because of the exchange of ideas. Here in mylot, we are being paid by educating each other and it's fun.

Hi sanjeev, absolutely ! there is a more relaxed atmosphere on discussion sites and no pressure at all. When the admin and the moderators do a good job, it is a pleasure to work on such sites like here on mylot...the weekends over and now back to the grind, have a great week ahead sanjeev

Yes if discussion sites are paying money then people will addictive for it. But like facebook if not paying for chatting then not interested. Mylot is popular only for this because learning and earning both facility are here.

usha, i agree with you. Using this kind of sites, we share our knowledge as well as gain more knowledge while reading other persons post and make a lot of good friends around world. Surely discussion sites are the best place to talk about various things and learn a lot of new things.

Hi prakash thanks a lot for sharing your views There was a time when openly talking about personal matters was frowned upon by many and discussions were on safer subjects , but now (probably with facebook) things have changed and most people are comfortable sharing certain details of their life without feeling inhibited and this shows that peoples views are changing ...enjoy your weekend prakash

I agree with you, discussion sites are the most addictive out of all opportunities I've found online to make money. There are only 4 other sites that I know of to be legitimate who have actually paid me ( but they don't involve discussions). Anyone who knows of sites should message me with them, I also have some to share.

What you say is true Kiran. We can take it easy here because there are no restrictions .Apart from the pleasure we get from interacting with friends, we get our fringe benefit of small pocket money too here.THis does not seem like some work but just a relaxation. But I know only mylot here.Is there any other forum that offers the same sort of interaction?

I agree kala, here there is absolutely no pressure at all, no members telling you what to do, which can happen in other similar sites.I feel that it depends largely on the admins how a site and its members behave and perform..I have sent a pm kala, please check it out

To tell you the truth, this is only the discussion site I'm signed up with. And I think a lot, if not all members of this community would agree with what you said. (with the exception probably of gamers :) I myself usually lose track of time when I'm logged in.

I do like to be active with the social discussion sites. It really is nice to get paid with some reply to discussions. That's what I like to do with Mylot than with other sites like Facebook or Twitter. Because I do get paid for being part of the discussion even though it really isn't much money to pay. With other social network sites like Facebook or Twitter you don't get paid money to being active there.

Maybe this is right, after all, all people want to get something from what they do. but it doesn't mean that mylot is more popular, comparing with facebook and twitter, we can earn some money, but if you can take good use of facebook and tritter, I believe that you can earn more.As far as I know, some people earn more than $1000 per day through facebook.

I so agree; you only write what's on your mind, how you feel, it's just like having a normal day-to-day conversation with some friends. You get to choose which topics or discussions interest you, who to discuss it with, the works. Now if the discussion sites lets you also earn on the side, then that's double the benefit, double the fun!
