Please don´t do something you may regret when you are adult. I think you can have both jobs. One best payed, and less loved, and one more loved and less payed. I have both of them. I graduated in marketing, and out school I studied music, and I continue studying music. Guess which is less payed? If I lived as musician I surelly had starved many time ago. But I love music, I really do, I get payed because I sing in a church on Sunday, but I am very low payed. Almost nothing to live with, and I play in public since 10 years ago. It seems music were just a hobby, but I love it,I study music since I was 8, and she makes me sweat and cry. Marketing helps me to get money. You are still young, and you may not know that living from desing is like to live as musician. Don´t fail your exams. You must work really hard, and I am not joking, when I mean really hard, to achieve both dreams money&love to job. Blessings.

Do what you love and you will never feel working anymore. That's a quote from someone I got. My opinion, you should choose both of them if you can, but if you can't, just choose designing, it is more worthy because you love it.

You must do what you love but it must also be slightly productive for the breadwinners of the family.Only the super rich can pursue hobbies without remuneration; others would be compelled to earn.If you are able to convert this designing work to efficient earnings then it is even better. However, one has to do what one loves and this must be balanced between duty and pleasure.Nothing like combining both.

Even though we all need to make a good living, I would rather be doing something I enjoy than just a good earning.

In your situation I would stick to graphic designing if the money is sufficient to survive. I would prefer to do something that I love and earn less money as long as I am still able to pay my rent and my bills, but if the low income means financial worries because there isn't enough money for the rent I wouldn't do it. I have had many different jobs in the past and I usually choose jobs that I find interesting or challenging instead of jobs where I earn a lot of money. If you don't get financial problems I would also encourage you to stay with the job that you enjoy

Doing what you like to do for a living is the best position any working man wants. If you feel that you can accept the lower income from doing what you like, why not. But you have to make sure that you will be able to at least make the minimum to survive. There is no use to do what you like when you have no money to buy food.

I think earning less money is worth it if you are doing what you love to do. After all, we need enough money for basic needs and really don't need any more. If we cover our basic needs and are doing what we love, life is good. Of course, it never hurts to make more but people make the mistake of thinking they need a lot of money to be happy. All we really need to be happy is work we enjoy, our basic physical needs and perhaps someone to love. Unfortunately, many have been brainwashed to think that the more money one has, they happier they will be. I'm glad your life is fulfilling now that you're doing the work you love!
