Typhoon Gener, who has just visited the Philippines, is expected to leave the country by Thursday. It still brings in heavy rains and gales of wind, although not the same force as last Sunday night. My kids worry me the most, because they still have to go to school despite of the weather. I just pray the typhoon would make a faster exit, been moving very slow, so everything will be back to normal again.

It's is really bad; in my area classes has been suspended for two days. I wonder if today would be any different, it's still raining and quite windy. Thank God we are in a flood-free area and my siblings have their school van service to pick them up. Well, what can we expect on a typhoon during the monsoon season.

Looks like it is much better than yesterday. I was in Divisoria when I got caught up in the middle of heavy rains late in the afternoon. And yes, good thing I also don't have to worry about flooding in my area but still it makes me a bit worried when the kids are out in school in a time like this.

I am praying too that this typhoon Gener would exit in our country as soon as possible. Many people are affected by this typhoon and lots of plants ruined because of the rain and flood. Although I am not affected by flood since I live in the higher place but when I see the flood in the street I feel sad and pity for those people living in a low area which they don't know where to go or they just choose to be with their house and bear the flood. Also our farm in the province also affected, its harvesting time but due to bad weather most of our rice and other vegetables was ruined because they soaked in mud and flood and we gain nothing . For sure my parents now are very sad because they lost they money because of the bad weather. I am just thankful that my parents are safe and stay in house most of the time. Always be safe.

Yes we do need to have precautionary measures in times like these, to keep safe. It's really sad watching the news on tv seeing the plight of our fellow Filipinos affected by the typhoon, especially those who are in the provinces.
