Hey All, I've just added this discussion for those of you who are nervous about buying the Instyler. I can say it was the best investment I've made thus far regarding my hair. My hair type is curly, thick hair. I watched the Instyler commercial and seen a girl with my hair type and said yeah right because I've bought other hair tools that never worked that great in my hair. Yeah, any of those Conair hair tools are a no go for my hair type. I decided to take a chance though and up to this day I am happy I did. When I recieved it, I opened it right away and tested it on my hair which was not straightened. I was completely in shock that it actually worked. It left my hair pretty much straight and was smooth and shiny all with just one stroke. Now 2 years later my InStyler is still kicking and working great. I actually put up a video on YouTube for those who were skeptical. To my surprise after posting it Instyler contacted me and put a clip of my video in one of their commercials which can be found on YouTube as well. They sent me the smaller barrel InStyler and the TopStyler for using my video. Needless to say I was very pleased with the smaller barrel and found the Top Styler ok but alot of work. So here I am again putting the word out there for those who are skeptical, I am living proof it does work and any questions please feel free to ask. :)

I am happy to hear your review. My daughter has very thick hair and I am sure she would be interested in watching your video on Youtube. Sounds like you have the first entry on your resume as an internet product promoter. Keep using your Youtube channel to promote products and hopefully you will begin to make a living from it. Good going, Babygirl!

I have one too and I really like it. My hair is very thick and certain straighteners don't work on it. The instyler seems to work pretty well for me. I also like to use it to make my hair wavy and kind of curly. But the thing I don't like is that afterwards my hair smells burnt because I have to have the setting high or else my hair won't curl. Other than that I don't have any problems with the instyler

Thanks for the response. I love my Instyler as stated before but thats weird that it burns your hair... Do you use product in your hair? and you said you've tried a lower setting. I know if its on a lower setting you may need to go over it a few times or for curls hold it in longer. I'm glad that it works for you though and I guess it all depends of the type of hair you have as well. I know the newer one has like a gray plate on the brush side which works like a ceramic protector or something of that sort it's not suppose to damage your hair. I don't have the burning smell but I do put hair grease in my hair... Depending on your hair type maybe a serum would work or a cream conditioner and then it will burn the product rather than your hair. Hope this was helpful :)
