misunderstand

Yesterday noon my colleague come to ask me about fixture and we didnot talk much before.She want to use a machine she didnot familiar but I use it often.Use this machine need a fixture to hold the substrate.There are several fixtures beside the machine and she didnot know the difference."which fixture do you use when use this machine?","We use our own fixture","then what the different between your fixture and the one on the table beside the machine", "our sample is round and the exciting fixture's hole is not a complete round then made our own one that has a complete round hole",and I draw to show her,then she draw to me and some word about flat ,stage in our talk.At last I say no matter your sample look like,you can use the fixture when your sample can put in the hole and can screw up.To make sure you can ask the maintenace. Afternoon we meet again and found we have made a misunderstand.What she draw is the side elevition of the dixture but not her sample,what I say flat is about the hole but not the bottom of the fixture. Fortunately she ask the maintenace before use,and we smile about our misunderstand.
