We All Listen To Music

Okay so I was just sitting here having one of my thinking time sessions and I know most if not all listen to music....but why? I mean, it's sort of the same thing as a commercial...it repeats over and over and gets very annoying but why doesn't music? Songs do nothing but repeat and some are very annoying some are not...why? Is it that it is addicting or the beat is good? Sorry like I said before I was just thinking so this may sound strange. :/

Perhaps people's tastes vary so everyone does not spend time to listen to music. But for people who love music, even though the song played over and over again but it will not be boring because they think they can get things from the song. Moreover, if the rhythm sounds good and very refreshing songs will probably be the favorite.
