Hi everyone!!! Have you been experience when you are walking alone especially at night there something bothering you that you feel someone is following at your back its kinda scary and you don't want to look back because you are scared., Because most of the I usually walk alone after in school, my school is a walking distance in my apartment to save money i prefer to walk even though it is late in the evening I know sometimes it is not safe because in our way to my apartment theirs a minibar which some people used to drink liquor, When i pass by I walk really fast and scared that someone is following me.

Yeah it is pretty scary to be walking alone. It is good though that we be aware of our surroundings. So many people in this world are crazy and we don't want to be naive about being out at night by ourselves. It's good to go out with family and friends and to make sure that everyone arrives home safely.

Glad to hear that your family is in your hometown. I can understand not wanting your room to be messy. It's nice to be organized and have things the way we want it. I hope that you are still doing well and that things are going good for you.

If it's early night and there are still people around, I don't mind walking home. But if I know that I will be late, either I go home with some friends or call at our place and have someone expect me or wait for me outside our gate. Better be safe than sorry.

Personally in my area, I often see women walking by themselves, but wonder about it. It could be because I am a little paranoid, but I could never walk alone in the dark somewhere, at least not around here. I did live close to where I used to work some yrs. ago and did it from time to time then, and it never really bothered me, so I guess it would depend on your neighborhood and such. All I know if I ever had to do it again, I would be Praying, or singing and trusting God on the way home to keep me safe.

lol i am not afraid to walk/move alone, but in india many women prefer to avoid movement at night alone, there have been so many cases of rapes recently, the druck people are more dangerous than beasts, be careful lol.

OH ya! I ever happened with me too. But it is at my home. Feels like someone behind me... I still searching what it is, either it is a real ghost or my mind only. Yes it is scary, same with you. But maybe it is just my mind..

Every 4am I have to take a 500-meter walk from my apartment to the spot where I can flag a tricycle. These morning walsk are usually uneventful but sometimes I come across suspicious looking characters, most of them on their way home from a long night of drinking. If it were up to me, I wouldn't put myself in such a situation, but since my work begins at 4:30AM, I must do it. These days we must all be very careful. Since I started working in this shift, I stopped wearing heel. I am always wearing comfortable shoes in which I can run in with no difficulty. We'll never know when I might I have to do so.

For me, I have done that a couple of times and still get to do so every now and then. No, I don't mean following young ladies who are walking by themselves alone at night (^_^") There would be chances, but I wasn't exactly following them. Just coincidentally going through the same path for a moment and we'd eventually have our separate ways later on. That use to happen what I was on my way home after late classes that would end in the evening. My university would take a good two hour trip and I'd still ride public transport. I still had a few of that when I was still working on a job and the hours would also end on evenings. These days, I would just get to walk by myself at night after attending presentations and training. Going through the same way every now and then would somehow grant you that sense of security as you would know pretty much how the way is and be familiar with those who are locally present along the way. Of course, it's a different matter when it's in the evening when it gets dark and uncertain. The way would still be the same of course, but wouldn't be sure with who might be there. Now with what you mentioned, if you can hear stories about that minibar which are not good, you might as well try to consider other ways in going home. Then again, if the place however has a lot of people, that can be a bit relieving than just being alone. You might as well bring something to protect you if you want to, but the best way to really get rid of the fear is not think about it that much.

Oh I'm so glad you're not my daughter, lol! I would be freaking out knowing you're walking home at night by yourself. Please be careful and be aware of your surroundings. Funny thing is, if you thought someone was following you, that minibar at least has people in there that you could possibly tell? Like the bartender? Do you know what I mean? I still wish you had someone to walk home with, even if it was part of the way. Take care.

Hi Chum , I would get that exact feeling whenever I used to stay late at a river and walking back to the main road . I would hear like foot step and bush mashing , I would start walk faster than looking back . I would normally swim and leave early but that day I stayed little pass 5:30 and it seems the night just come down suddenly . I have never swim alone at that river again . I think its not safe to make something a routine because people will start observing and may lay wait you .
