Going Raw

I'm trying to go raw and except for missing chicken wings a lot! I love eating raw and I just found a great raw restaurant, so that's really good. However, I'm tying to figure out what is the best way go get protein in your diet when you're eating raw? I love avocados but, they have a lot of fat. What else can I eat besides protein powder and get a good source of protein?

I read your post because I´m curious as to why would someone "go raw" as eating goes. I love most of my veggies raw (or use them raw or cooked depending on the dish. But protein doesn´t have to do so much with cooking or not but about what you eat. I like to eat raw fish, raw seafruit (cooked in lemon juice) and raw ground red meat cooked in lemon too.

I'm actually trying to eat raw and vegetarian. The reason why I'm going raw is because about two years ago, a friend of mine told me about it and I tried for 2 months eating nothing but raw smoothies, greens, fruit, nuts and other raw veggies and fruit. When I did this I lost weight and I felt better than I had in years. Then I started to read up on it and what I learned was that eating raw s very healthy for you. Many people are very serious about it. I believe that it's much better for you. That's why I'm trying to make it a part of my lifestyle.
