The last few minutes I think my little guy has been wanting to make his mommy a night owl. I got to sleep for 3 hours then I get terribly uncomfortable. I start getting some contractions, then having to go pee, then of course he wants to play around so I can't sleep with him moving all around so I have to wait. Then I might get some heart burn or even feel him have hiccups. Once I've gone through all of this new routine I can finally go and lay back down and go back to sleep. Thank goodness my daughter is with family for a few more weeks because I don't know how the heck I would be able to take care of her just on 3 hours of sleep and falling a sleep on the sofa. Plus take the medication to control my contractions because when I take one of those they make me really sleepy, can give me headaches, and make me really shaky so some times sleep is about all I can do right now.

Yes I'm pregnant just a few weeks away being able to give birth to him. Thus the reason this discussion is under pregnancy because I'm pregnant cause a none pregnant women wouldn't have contractions.

So Jd likes to stay up late, lol! I know he is just being a growing baby. My mom used to say if a pregnant mom gets heartburn it means the baby has hair ,lol. Hang in there!

He can't tell the time nor see anything other then red that surround him so no I can't say he likes to stay up. Its normal when your pregnant because we are normally up in the day time doing things so his movements are that noticeable because I'm focusing on other things but at night time I want to sleep so my focus is on that so fetal movement is normally a lot more noticeable. That is a wise tale they say things like that all of the time. Heart burn says nothing about anything about a pregnant. He does have hair but that is because the ultrasound tech told me so last week. Heart burn is done to your stomach being so much higher in your body and his little feet keep pushing it up and up more to my lungs which cause acid to get backed up.

I know about JD but I love the idea of JD just wanting to stay up all night! I didn't know that is why mommies to be get heartburn. Wow!

That last sentence was too much information! Now I know I'm no mother. I would ask the doctor to get this thing out of me, lol! Question. Is there a way to take the fertilized egg out of one stranger and implanted into another stranger? I mean these two women Never met. The birth mother will Never know where the child is?Have you ever heard of this? I have heard of surrogates, where Hubby's sperm is used on another woman's eggs or their egg is implanted into a woman they choose . But what about a stranger?

My little guy is keeping me up too. Not really with moving around or kicking so much, but I have small contractions late at night (not more than one in a day yet), acid reflux and heartburn (I highly suggest the Berry Smoothers Tums if you have this problem), and my back is KILLING me (probably because of the crappy mattress more than the baby). I've ended up staying up later and later every night.

For me it was more heartburn and his hiccups. He has slowed down with movement there is no room for him. Now I"m just chillin at the hospital for him to come out which seems like never since they stopped contractions so much now my body really doesn't want to do contractions to much. I get them here and there for the almost 2 weeks now. Been the hospital for almost 2 weeks now. The hospital bed is pretty soft here in the antipartium they are softer then labor and delivery beds.
