So my SIL asking me whey did I get up in the middle of the night to just go back to sleep? I told her well I had to get up out of bed because I started to have a contraction and I couldn't get comfortable to where it would go away on it's own. So I got up and took my medication and it's not like it's going to work the second I take it. So I waited for it to kick in. Of course during that time my little baby started moving already inside me so I had to wait longer. Of course I was tired and wanted to sleep but when he is moving around like he was it's hard to sleep. Then I got some hurt born. I was thinking really why the heck do you have to ask me why I didn't just stay in bed and stay a sleep. Well let's see you where just pregnant 2 months ago don't you remember what it was like to be sleeping and all of sudden be woken from you sleep.

A lot of things happen towards the end of your third trimester many women feel discomfort.. Your baby probably was just doing a lot of twisting and moving while inside you which is a very good sign...A lot of women get a chart to track their baby's movement.. I found this link which should help you along the process.. http://tinyurl.com/8cu8osb

I know what happens at the end of a pregnancy I've been pregnant more then once. This was my second pregnancy with in 2 years of each other. A lot of the times at the end of a pregnancy babies slow down there movement because there is no room and a lot of women have and get heart burn because the baby is up high still and hasn't started dropping into the birth canal yet. Some babies don't even drop till you are in labor. I really don't need any links to tell me about pregnancy. Been there done that a long time ago and the pregnancy train has been over with for almost 3 weeks now.

You're so close to your due date, and for sure contractions are just getting more and more evident. But, im pretty sure you've prepared yourself for that, so just relax and take the doctor's advice.

What advise could she possible give me. She gave me medication and actually the contractions don't bother me it's the baby moving all around that keeps me from sleeping. I can deal with the contractions and contractions at 33 weeks isn't good especially when I have a cervix half way thinned out. That means I'm in preterm labor which is why I'm on medication that keep my from going into labor. Due date is like 7 weeks away I'm only one week away form when I had my daughter. Sleep at the end of a pregnancy and missing it is very common for most women it has noting to do with contractions because most all of them I do not feel like when I was pregnant with my daughter I felt zero till my water broke. Fetal movement is what is killing me. I can't do anything about that and neither can the doctor.

Sleeping while pregnant is impossible you can never get comfortable and no matter what you do you just cant make it ever get comfortable. Then the baby wakes up and starts kicking. How can you fall asleep when your being kicked from the inside out lol. I used to wake up lots when I was pregnant my husband would find me sleeping in a chair resting my hands on my belly. He knew that it was cause the baby was kicking me hard that I would sometimes fall asleep sitting up trying to calm the baby with my rubbing lol. Needless to say it never worked. I could not wait to have my daughter so that I could finally get a good nights sleep sad thing is that now that she has been with us for almost 12 years now I still have yet to get a good nights sleep. Now I just stay awake worrying about my daughter lol. Once you become a parent and that starts before you actually have the baby you will never get another good night sleep lol. Sad but true. My Dad used to tell me that and I never understood what he meant now as a Parent I do.

I normally don't have trouble sleeping while I'm pregnant. But since last week I've been having contractions and I've been taking medication to stop them so some times if it's been a while since I've taken my medication I start getting a contraction which can kind of wake me depending on how hard it is. Last my little one just didn't know what side he want to lay on. I've fallen a sleep being kicked before normally its when I'm really tired. He doesn't really kick he rolls a lot which is very uncomfortable. I've been a mom for 18 months I have a daughter already so this is my second baby. So I've been through it before but she was a lot smaller and she didn't move around every much like my son does. He loves to play games and especially at time. I'm on bed rest so at least some point in the day or night I get more then 3 hours of sleep.

Yeah being pregnant it happens at the end. even when I'm not pregnant I get up in the middle of the night to pee or to just check in on my daughter before I got pregnant again.
