Most people said that their job is not easy, they said the busiest person in society is a businessmen, others said it's a teacher, while others said it's the driver; I think most employees as well as employers claim that they're the busiest person. Even me I thought I'm a busy person. But, when I tried to open up my eyes I realized that the busiest person is the mother. I think being a mother is not easy; yet it's a worthy profession. To be a mother is the noblest profession, I consider it profession why? because if you're a mom your acting like a nurse; attending your children's health as well as husband, you're a teacher; teaching your children the values, as well as becoming a private tutor, you're an accountant; you budget the money, control the expenses and savings, you're the engineer; you try to design you're children's welfare and future, yet the best engineer in our lives is God.If you're a mom you're the adviser the of your kids; a guidance counselor, etc. So see? being a mom is not easy; being a mom is like being a superwoman ;) yet most women wanted to become a mom!

Being a mother, it is not easy. Requires patience, sincerity, and a lot of energy. Being a mother, working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all year long life. There is no vacation, no holidays, no salary, no bonus, no overtime pay, no benefits, and
sometimes not appreciated. If anything happens to her child, the mother who is always blamed.

no salary, no holiday, no appreciation
Because its considered a duty. Who to blame and who to make understand?

I barely have time to sleep. After my son sleep, I have to stay awake, as long as my husband has not slept. Yes. Being a mother is an obligation, duty and responsibility as well. I do not mean to blame, or make another person, or anyone else to understand. But, to appreciate what has been done, by a mother. Because, many do not appreciate is done by a mother. Moreover, if a mother, who only take care of children, husbands, and homes. And wait money a gift from her husband. More often not appreciated.

I'm a teacher, I take care of three cats, and I have taken care of a younger brother, so I have played the mom role, and I can say that it is never easy. Being a mom is tough, and you never stop worrying. You just always hope that you are doing your best.

I would rather call it a vocation because it sounds more solemn than profession. Profession is something you are doing because you are compensated for doing that. But a vocation is something like you are doing that because you like to do it or it is a commitment you have in your life.
I agree being a mom is not an easy task to do. It is not like one of those childhood mom games that you have a doll to take care of and feed at your own free will and time. But being a real mom entails a lot of love to taking good care of your real kids needs. There is actually no more free time as you will always think for the betterment of the lives of your child. And I think there are no retirement for it since even in your old age you will be a mother that will always care for your siblings. No matter how separated you are from your children you will always have a connection with them somehow and the caring and worrying will remain in there as a mom. So being a mom is not an easy task at all.

I'm a stay at home mom and it's not easy at all. Yes after a while it gets easy but people forget that moms do a lot of things weather they go to work or not. Mom's in general are doing something all of the time. I tell people my job is being a mom and I stay home and they go aww that is cool you got it easy. I tell them when is it easy being pregnant raising a toddler, washing clothes, making sure your child is feed, happy. I got to do the bills, I'm the doctor some days, even daddy some times. I give her baths, put her to sleep. I do it all I spend most then 40 plus hours a week and you know I don't get a sick day even when I'm sick i'm still mom. I don't have someone to really take care of me I can just call up my mommy and tell her to take care of me. Some days I feel like I might go crazy and other days it's like heaven I get to spend all day every day with my daughter. Yes I wouldn't trade it for the world it's always worth it and I might not get paid in money but I certainly get paid in hugs and kisses.
What ever kind of mom a mom is it's never really easy. We deal with a lot put up with a lot and many of the times we never complain about it.

Employees and businessmen end their days as soon as office or work hours is over. A mom doesn't get to have a break; all the time is MOM mode time. You cannot say, "Oh this time I'm on coffee break so I will stop being a mom for a while." It doesn't work that way. Also, being a mom is the most underpaid job in the world, yet it is the most fulfilling especially when you were able to see your kids grow healthy and well.

Hello BethelSophia
Although I'm not a mom but I know that Mother's job is not really easy. Just like the things that you've mentioned above. That's why I love my Mom very much and that's what we suppose to do. They deserve a respect from us. Just as the bible says at Ephesians 6:1,2 we must obey our parents and honor our father and mother.

Hi, well said, I'm totally agreed... First of all I'm not a female, but I do understand everything you've said. My mother didn't finish school when she was in elementary, but I've seen every thing of her wise decision and how she works here in our house, I always listen to her advise because she knows many things about life. You know you're right; I observed everything, being a mom is not that easy at all, many young generations today is not taking it seriously... ANyway, thank you for sharing your wisdom, God Bless you... :-)

Of course not. I think being a mom is too difficult. Being a mom, she would take care of her children and do the house work, go to work for money...... I think it is the greatest person in the world.

I agree with you, though I'm not a mother myself, but I wanted to be someday. The job of a mother is continuous and very rewarding. There are no holidays or day offs, instead there's always overtime. But above all these, no one really compares to a mother.

is not easy being mom...
it is the hardest thing u can imagine lol.. working 24/7, on call 24 hours and NO DAY OFF, in a DAY you work all around housekeeper and NIGHT a prosti to your husband lol... but all hardship are rewarding when you see your kids growing in good shape and attitude with loving husband always on your side these are the fullfillment of a mom.
