it's a local holiday here and as i went out of the house gate, our neighborhood is so calm. there's nobody around except my kid on his bike.i noticed that during holidays like this, people tend to get out of bed late in the morning. sleeping that much is a waste of time for me. when in fact i already was able to sell my old computer monitor and other trash just this early morning to our local recycler man. how about you?what do you usually do during local holidays?

Ah there are times I couldn't resist waking up late because the night before I probably stayed up late, either hanging out with friends or just doing stuff here on myLot. Though there are also times I get to wake up early on a local holiday even though I slept kinda late the night before. I guess sometimes it's because I get excited that there won't be any work-related stuff to take care of.

i too had that same experience before. but as of now i make sure that my time is well spent, either for relaxation or money making. it's just that i am already used to waking up early even on holidays. Waking up early in the morning really gives you lots of benefits.i still have time to stretch my body and have my early milk. On the other hand, I’m loving it because I get to exercise and get things done ahead of time.

I usually stay at home during holidays to grab the chance to rest and relax from work for a while. But if there are some friends invite to hang out and go somewhere else,I used to accept the invitation and go with them to enjoy life for a while.

well, it's a must too that we should give time to relax from work. it's a way of managing stress too. im not actually against it but for me i can have my relaxation if i don't find any clutter at home. it's also about time management too.
Most people talk about managing time in order to have more of what life has to offer, but it’s only in managing ourselves that we really see a difference in our lives and are able to handle any stress life throws at us.Manage yourself and other things will fall into place.
thanks for dropping by here pal.

I always stay at home, and rest and rest and rest and nothing more. For me it is the only days that I can relax totally without any problems. Especially for those who are working, it's their only additional stress reliever other than the weekends.

Usually during local holidays my husband and I going to market to buy some fresh seafood's, vegetables and fruits early in the morning. Then we going to cook those seafood and eat together in our home to save money and served as our bonding moments. I preferred to stay home to rest and watch movies than going out during local holidays because for sure there's a stressful and tired job on the next day.

I have to admit... I enjoy getting extra sleep late but I am a night person and usually up late. So if I don't have to get up early for some reason and it's a holiday, I like to sleep late - not too late.

During my local holidays first thing i will do is clean my house and my room particularly :-).. I wont get time to clean things on daily basis.. Then i will go to temple in early morning and pray to god.. after that i call my friends for outing and we organize a small trip to some near place or may be a flim. Evening definately we will play cricket with all of our friends. This is what i do in most holidays..
