Hi, honestly I don't know what urban books are. Can you tell me what they are? Perhaps I have read one without knowing it is in fact an urban book

Urban Books is a book publisher specializing in African-American topics, founded and published by Carl Weber in 2002 (information courtesy of Wikipedia). Their books have become very popular. It has been referred to as hip-hop fiction, ghetto literature or gangster literature. I have only read a little of Carl Weber's book (referenced above). I think he is a master at weaving a story.

Oh wow, thanks for that information. Now I am not sure if I have read anything of that sort. It sounds interesting though. I will look up Carl Weber and see if I can find myself a good piece. Would you recommend at least one book?
Thanks again!

Yes! I think the book mentioned above is very good, "So You Call Yourself a Man". My local Barnes & Noble doesn't have it, but there are places online that have it. It isn't his latest, but I think it's really good, from what I read. Shouldn't be hard to find. Enjoy!
