How does one raise motivation? I have been struggling with raising my motivation - or finding passion in lots of things I do, where should one seek it or how to define it?
Is motivation maybe something which actually in a sense is not needed, because doing something you like does not really need motivation, you are passionate enough to do the stuff and the motivational part would there be by default.
How do you do the stuff with inspires you? And how do you the stuff which does not inspire you? Just the "Lets get it over with" attitude?

I get motivated in a rather different way--my main motivation is myself. Sounds completely conceited, but it works. For instance, at work, I always have to do well. My motivation for working hard and doing well is the satisfaction of being able to say "I did that. I'm awesome." What motivates me to work so hard earning in various ways to support six members of my family? The satisfaction of saying "I support them. I do this. I am awesome." Even in MyLot, my reputation has got to be 10, all my responses should be best response material, because I can say "I'm awesome." I know it is a very self-centered attitude, but if self-centeredness actually leads to something good, then why not? Maybe you can motivate yourself by thinking that you are awesome, and therefore you do awesome things. Good luck!

Some people find strength in other people, but recognizing our own strengths and always trying to outdo ourselves is the attitude of winners. If I am given a task, the first thing I think is that I can do it. Then I can proceed to think about how to do it.
