I often see animals such as chickens silence, I watched it a while, and I see the chickens like thinking. Can animals think? What do you think about it?

Absolutely. I believe animals have a brain and some of them are highly intelligent. We see some animals who have problem solving skills and if we watch them we can learn about how there minds operate. I think, the fact that many animals are teachable, is proof that they can think and learn.

I agree with you. They can even know when you have arrived just with the sound of your car. They learn by themselves how to scratch their bodies.

I think animals have the ability to think but simply in their own animal way. They use their instinct as we have learned.

I also think like that, and what do you think with animals which can do what human do, can they do what human do if they are taught?

I think that all animals can think. Some more than others as remarked in other posts. The very least that they can think is about eating and mating. Their number one instict is survival. That requires them to think. Pretty crafty at times too. They know when they need food from thinking. They know when to hide from others that may wish to eat them. Then they know when its mating season and they think about how they are going to dominate all the other males.

Some would claim that only humans have thoughts and that animals have instincts....
