Absolutely. I believe animals have a brain and some of them are highly intelligent.
We see some animals who have problem solving skills and if we watch them we can learn about how there minds operate.
I think, the fact that many animals are teachable, is proof that they can think and learn.

I think that all animals can think. Some more than others as remarked in other posts. The very least that they can think is about eating and mating. Their number one instict is survival. That requires them to think. Pretty crafty at times too. They know when they need food from thinking. They know when to hide from others that may wish to eat them. Then they know when its mating season and they think about how they are going to dominate all the other males.
