does it make sense if you think of yourself as someone who is to be successful in a certain area but in the present you're so dumb in your performances in that area?

If you think it enough it could happen. As long as you are taking the steps to achieve that goal. Your mind is a very powerful tool.

Well i strongly feel that nothing in this world is difficult to achieve. With strong determination, focus, aim and support, no force on earth can stop you from achieving the impossible. if things are though to be complicated by the mind, it will always stay complicated for you for ever.
What say?

I think that it makes perfect sense so long as you are willing and able to learn. If you have the inspiration and determination to be successful in a particular way, then you will seek out information and, perhaps, a teacher who will help you and encourage you to imnprove your skills.
Some people are naturally good at certain things and do not seem to need to put in much practice or effort to learn their skill; others struggle all the way and put in long hours of study and practice. I know that, especially in music and the arts, those who have had to work hard to achieve excellence are far better teachers than those who are 'natural' musicians or 'intuitive' artists. The reason is that the 'natural' or 'intuitive' person has never encountered the difficulties which his pupils experience and therefore finds it difficult to teach how to overcome them.
