samsung & Apple in a battle over smartphones

I read an article today about these two technology giants battleing over the smart phone. Apple is upset that it only made an $8.8 billion profit throuout the first quarter of the year while Samsung a record profit of 5.19 trillion over the sane time period. Apple representitives claim Samsung has copied features and designs from the Apple iPhone. Samsung claims that iPhone technology would not have been possible without the mobile technology developed and patented by Samsung some twenty years earlier.
Seems a judge will make the final decision. But I am curious as to what you myLotters think on the subject. It is a big money war. I am not sure who is entitled to manufacture and destribute the smartphone design. But I will confess that I love the technology!

I prefer the Iphone. I have been an iphone user since last year and I love it! It has all the cool features plus there are a ton of apps you could download. There are gaming applications and productivity applications that you can use for work and the like. The Iphone also has an eight megapixel camera which I really love. It is so clear! I also love all the photography apps in the Iphone. A lot of the photography apps are free! In short, I will still continue to use the Iphone and continue to purchase newer versions of it in the future. What I do not like about the samsung galaxy is that it is so big! :(

Actually stand at the consumer side,the battle between these two giants is good for us.Firstly,it will improve the development for the smart phone technology,and secondly,the severe competition between them will cut down the prices of smart phone,so we all can get benefit from it.
But personally,I am the fans of Apple so I wish Apple can win this lawsuit.
