Why do the little things annoy me so?

What really annoys me is things like 10 hot dogs and only 8 buns. And a dark brown or black scoop in the coffee can full of dark brown or black coffee!Lipstick that goes on in a different color than it is in the tube. And something so simple as a CD sealed in a package that needs an A-bomb to get it open! Have you ever tried to get a curling iron out of its package? They should come equipped with a chain saw as that is nearly what is needed to get it out of the package. And of course, buying a package of pens and some don't write.

I'm pretty sure that most of those things on your list annoy everyone and because they are annoying! The alternative to your hotdog problem is to buy the package with 12 in it and have left overs that probably won't get used. I always overcompensate in that situation because there is apt to be a kid that doesn't like it when the stupid roll splits when you go to put your hot dog in. If not, I'll use the left over ones for egg salad or tuna rolls. The whole packaging thing is more than a little annoying and that is on everything from meds to toys etc. Stupid craft paint needs tools to get into! Let's add to your list....anything that you have to put together which is made in China! OMG...the instructions are so so bad! I always get frustrated and toss the instructions and go by the picture. I always have left over parts and screws but it serves the purpose.

Yes, that does annoy me alot!! and when you do get english..you have to press 10 different options to get to a customer service person...and then on hold for 20 minutes!

I know! Instructions are all pictures now and often times.. the pictures don't match the item! But.. I have to say.. I do do better with pictures than written instruction as I am a visual person. Show me the finished product nad I can follow that to put another together, but to have to read all those instructions...drives me to drink!
But on that score...what drives me nuts is... one manual...7 different languages! And then have to go through it and find english! I can see they would want to do it that way, but this is America..english is the main language and it is being sold here so put English first. But having to flip through a 100 page manual and finding the english and only about 15 pages are in english and I have to keep that whole big thing and flag the english ..etc etc etc... I hate that!

so funny, i could relate to the other one, i bought a straightening iron, and i had a hard time opening it, i almost throw it away. I just thought about the money i spent, and i almost cut myself lol. I really hope they made it easier for costumers to open it lol

I can understand the tight packaging thing, Cd's and the plastic that things like curling irons come in. It's quite an annoyance. Even the 8 bun 10 hot dog thing, but I suppose that's just a gimmick for all of the bread companies?
I wouldn't know about lipstick, I can't wear it it chaps my lips so bad and makes them look awful.

I'm the same...I can't do the lipstick thing. It actually reminds me of my grandmother. I just remember her and all her little old lady friends and their bright lipstick which always to me looked clownish and got on their teeth. I don't know if it chaps my lips because I just have never worn it. I've never met anyone who wears it that I think it looks good on. it's just so fake. The coffee measures...I really don't care what color they are..that doesn't even hit my annoy radar.

I don't wear lipstick cause I can never find a color that looks right..they don't look like in the package and you can't return them once opened...so I stopped trying to find a color as I couldn't stand wasting the money!
But it is on all kinds of things...I just bought 3 replacement heads for my electric toothbrush. Oral B. I couldn't just tear the package open, I had to find scissors and cut the top and even then..had to cut it again and then each head was in it's own package and again...getting that plastic dome thing off is HARD!!!!
And another thing... I went to the grocery store...I asked my husband if he wanted a couple cans of new potatoes. He said yes and I noticed that they were on sale so when I put the two in the cart.. I asked if he wanted 2 more as they were on sale... he said yes.. I went back to right where I got the first two.. and took two. got home and the first two were whole potatoes and the next two cans were diced! Yet they were sitting there right together. And the tomatoe sauce.. I just want regular tomato sauce...but there are so many options.. with basil and garlic, with pepper and garlic, without sodium, no salt added, with oregano and basil... good grief.. I was all but crawling on the floor for a couple feet reading all the labels to find just regular tomato sauce! Of course, the little cans were on the bottom row!

Get a tile cutter to open those packages that are so hard to open and only buy one or two pens at one time.

A paper cutter was what I used, but sometimes it was just to hard to be careful with so I have a pair of scissors and just cut that crap away! One or two pens.. are you kidding me!! I Love pens...fat ones...easy to hold on to! And I have alot of them in a variety of places around the house...never without a pen! I didn't intend for that to happen, but just recently in clearing things out for my daughter to move back in.. I realized how many I had and looked at the stash..and smiled! Okay, I know... Get a life, coffeebreak!

I think alot will "take it" a few times but when it is constant or cost me money...that is when it gets annoying. For me.. I'd just as soon have a slice of bread instead of all that bun bread on the hot dogs anyway...but other things...like for instance while everyone is sitting at the dinner table and each one is texting or playing a hand held little game thingy...that annoys me too!
