Preference in men/women!!!

My preference in man is not his physical look. His outshape is not a problem for me, where he comes from foreigner or asian I dont care about it, in the end physical appearance is only skin deep. I prefer someone with strong personality and good understanding, easy to communicate to and to discuss something, most important thing he must respect and tolerate difference between us or other people.

Lol, I never thought that and really it doesn't matter. I think the girl should have a mind to understand me and that is all. Thanks.

As far as eye color, height, weight ,etc I don't really have a preference in that manner. I do find that someones confidence shines through and I'm always attracted to someone who carries themselves with confidence, they must smell good and I also like a nice dresser.

It's funny you mentioned your friend's preference in a girl... I'm an Asian guy & I live with a white girl... My girl friend always told me she found Asian men attractive... She said something about jet black hair with deep, dar brown eyes, etc, etc, lol... I do have preferences but as weird as this may sound, not in looks... There's something to be said about a girl's personality... I know, I know, it's an oldest cliche but it's true for me... If I had to describe physical attributes, I'd say I'm attracted to fair skin with dar hair, length doesn't really matter... Bright green eyes, sharp nose, thin lips... And a girl who's not necessary big but built... I'm not talking about like a female body builder or anything... She has to have some definition in her body... Height doesn't really matter but it would be nice if I don't have to look "up" at her... Other than that, I'm good... It's not that I looked for somebody outside of my race on purpose, I just happened to find my girlfriend very attractive when we met... And she had a personality to match as well... Some might say she's loud & opinionated, I find her strong minded & not afraid to voice her opinions... Some might say she's rough but I find her to be more like tomboy-ish & I like the fact that she doesn't depend on me for every little thing... She's independent yet knows when to let me take a lead... She believes in herself & confident enough in herself she doesn't mind letting me call the shots sometimes... She can hang with anyof my guy friends... She'll take up a challenge to out drink any of them, failing at it miserably sometimes lol but at least willing to give it a whack at it... Sometimes she can be very girly but doesn't over do it... She took self defense when she was growing up & she never really gave it up so she can keep up with me... I took aikido, Thai boran & jujitsu... She took roman wrestling & aikido while she was in high school & she loved it... So she kept up with it to this day... She & I goof around all the time & people think we're fighting... There are time she whooped my butt to no end... I love that about her... She doesn't hold back for nobody & she's like that in just about everything... She doesnt care about who she's talking to, if she thinks I'm wrong, she'll let me know... I love that about her... I can be brutally honest with her without having to worry about hurting her feelings... She'll pout for a while but she knows I'm not trying to be an a**h*** about it... She knows my intentions & take on my meaning, not my words... That's not to say she doesn't have a girly side of her... She looks stunning in her dress... She can move with grace & posture... I got her into argentine tango... I learned it when I was younger & loved it... The way she moves, I can't imagine anything that moves in such beauty... When she smiles at me, forget the room, she seems to just light up the entire world... I don't know... She's passionate just about everything she does... What can I say, I love this girl... So what's my preference in a girl? I don't know... I just know I love my girlfriend & though she may not be perfect but she's perfect for me...

Hi ryanong :) My preference is quite similar like yours.. I like tall man too, not thin, not fat too.. And my first ex is fat with big belly too.. :p I like smart and funny guy, and I like badboys type.. :p

I guess it will be okay to hav preference for our partner but you must not really rely on looking for those qualifications. Somtimes, there are already person in front of you waiting for your love but you are blind of it because of the preferences you looked in a future partner. Sometimes, love will just strike you unexpected and also, sometimes, the partner that will be given to you is far from your set preferences.

Everyone has their own preference of course, but that doesn't mean we should be limit our choices for a partner. What we think is perfect for us may not be actually perfect for us haha, especially when it comes to choosing the right partner. Sure, we are attracted to some people more easily because they meet our preferred physical look. Physically, i like guys who are lean, tall, toned, dark haired. You mostly see this quality in asian men. But really, that kind of attraction is only initial. It's the personality a person has that will keep me hooked not their looks. Must be why I don't obsess with celebrities, because I don't really know what their personality is like. For all we know, they are not showing their true selves at all but merely acting a part(even in real life) I got hooked to my boyfriend(almost 5 years in our relationship now) I don't think he is handsome(though sometimes he seem very attractive, rarely happens though LOL)but i love him very much. I usually kid around about him putting me under some love spell or something.

Hi friend, good to hear about your preference, wish you to find the proper person to you in the near soon. I agrmee with your point. Each and every one is having dreams and expectation and searching a life partner based on their thoughts and attitudes

Preferance I feel will not be the right term, but I like slim tall girls with long hair and some fashion statements. But then it is not at all the thing that I judge people by looks. I feel I will get the right person at the right time. I like making friends and interacting a lot with others. You tend to be more friendly with one whose communication, personality, nature suits you. Sometimes it may match that of yours while sometimes you may find someone entirely opposite of you attracting you.

hi ryanong All of us have its own personal preference or we call it "ideal man".. But sometimes the man you dream about is opposite in reality,,lol..:) but it doesn't mean that if you set your ideal preferences the outcome would be the opposite,it doesn't happen all the time..
