I chose a figure of 1 Lakh because it will be the money which a person keeps spare with them. If you want to start a business with the money given to you what will be your action. What business can you do in a country like India with it. I want the profit with the business. What is your best advise for me?

Approach the small scale industries sector run by the govt. of India, and talk to them. They will give you business ideas for this amount. all the best, they have offices all over India.

you can try an online shop like ebay. You can sell a lot of items without affecting your current job and you dont even need to hire a person for that. Hope this helps

That was nice of you discuss the idea here. I like to drink the good tea if it is winter season. I think the place to start such business, is the major factor which decides if it works or not. I need a person to make tea and also a good formula for a good tea. The place is the one thing that is hard to find these days at my place. What is the subject of your graduation? Are you in medical stream?

I don't do business now since i have to focus on my study, preparing for graduation in the end of this year. With $2000, we can start many small business in here... For instance, some one get much much money from selling ice-tea, ice lemon tea since Viennese people like to drink it in sidewalk of any street for chatting, especially in summer time. They start their business with $50 only.

with a lakh i think it will be easy to start selling clothes i know a retailer in hyderbadh who started with something like 50000 rupees He bought clothes in cheap from bangladesh and then sold it in chandni chawk. Chandni chawk i think is now too crowded to start a business with. But there are are other wholesale markets. You can sell there.I am thinking of starting to do the same thing since it's a cheap to start business with good profit. hope it helps you yaar

There are not many options with that amount. However, I would try with something like a small tea and snacks shop- may be some pakodas as well as samosas stall. With some profits earned from here, I could try a small Online store selling a few stuff and hiring one or two people to distribute and /or collect things. However, the second business would need staying invested till some time and hoping to make profits after some time only. Another option could be selling small handicrafts items near some big shopping complex.

You mean the clay pots and those bamboo crafts, right? Those are still famous in the place like West Bangal, and I like them. It will require the raw material like bamboo sticks and the clay for making the clay pots, but I am worried if the people still use them. Are there some other handicrafts?

Hi, I want to know if you started all this at once or one by one. Was the medical shop your first number and maybe then you started the fertiliser shop also. I am just curious to know.
