Traveling can be expensive at the same time it can be quite affordable too. It depends on how you spend on your trip. One of the thing that cost most in a trip would be accommodation. Some people want to stay in four or five stars hotel which would cost them more. If you are not so concern about having a classy luxurious hotel stay, you can always go for budget hotels, lodge or guest house. You can even get a stay at price as low as 10 usd. If you are running low on cash, accommodation ranging from 10 to 30 usd should do fine and you just have to look for the right one. Let me make a rough estimation for you according to my past travel experience. Let's say you are staying at 30 usd per night for three nights. I won't consider any stay less than two days a trip though as it will be a hassle and you won't really enjoy the trip. So that makes 90 usd for accommodation. Food three times a day at 2 usd per meal. so it will be 24 usd for food. transportation fees not including air ticket would be roughly 20 usd. Just choose a hotel in the center of the city and you can walk to destinations most of the time. That makes 134 usd for a four days three nights trip in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia not including air ticket. It is pretty affordable to me though. The price can be lower if you reduce a bit here and there.

I am not interested to travel without work means if not necessary then I not travel. I know if I need then God will give money for travel so no problem. But I not like long journey. You can borrow the money from bank or any organization.

In 2001 and 2002 I spent loads of money traveling with my trip to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Therefore in 2003 I was short of money but I still wished to go on a trip that year. I planned a very cheap two week trip beginning with a low cost flight to Italy. To get that I slept on the airport floor. I stayed in my tent and had a few nights in a dorm bed in a youth hostel. I visited Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia. When I was 18 years old I wished to travel around Europe by train. To do that I found a well payed job as a kids nanny in Finland. My plan worked perfectly and they were a lovely family.I taught their little girl how to speak English. I got a working holiday visa for Australia when I was 20 to 21 years old. So I suggest working overseas and staying in a tent or youth hostels.

Some people really work hard and allot money merely for travelling. If you really want to travel and you currently have no funds, you can save for it every year. It's nice to go somewhere you haven't been to even just once in a year.

There was many ways that you can save money or travel without much money. You can choose the cheapest type of transportation. If you have to fly there are two things that you can do. You can use a budget airline and I can avoid direct flights which are often more expensive. If you are willing to change planes once or twice during during your trip you can often save a lot of money. If it you are travelling overland you can hitchhike or a go by bus. I saved a lot of money when I travelled by bus from Germany to Lithuania. It is not the most comfortable way to travel and flying is much faster, but you can often save some money if you go by bus. The cheapest kinds of accomodation are couchsurfing where locals let you stay in their home for free, hostels or camping. In hostels the cheapest option is a dorm instead of a private room. Sometimes you can also find quite cheap hotel rooms online. Many hotels have a reduced price if you pay in advance instead of paying when you arrive. Try to travel in the low season when the prices are much lower.

Hey man! Welcome to mylot! It depends dude. Even if you don't have enough funds you can still go to places. It just needs proper preparation and planning. Target places which you can afford or within budget. There are cheap beautiful destinations out there! All you need is explore more. And it's best to save and save and save. Just right! shadow41

Travelling is something that we all want to do at some point in our lives, but it can be very hard when we don't have the money to be able to do so. A good idea would be to try and keep your eyes open for good deals on travel websites. If you either book very early, or at the last minute, there are often different things on offer to you so this would be worth bearing in mind. You could also try and do some kind of work in the country that you're travelling in. For example when I went to America, I worked as a busker in an attempt to raise some money for while I was over there, and I have to admit that it worked really well.

It's difficult to travel if we don't have enough funds so it's better if we save first before traveling. When it comes to school trip, some are having solicitations. Some people are kind and considerate so they usually give money. We won't enjoy traveling if we are worried about our insufficient budgets.

If there is a will, there is a way. Save your money through out the year. and wait for a right deals given by travel companies. Look for cheap hotels but look for amazing places to be covered. Go in a group. In that way, sometimes travel agencies also give concession. Best wishes!!!!

I think, if we want to travel but we are not sufficient funds could have happened. And I think if you have an adventurous spirit, even if you have limited funds that are not even enough, you can find it first, or I know the word "reckless Capital" of my friends who have problems like you.
