WE live in a technologically advanced age where everything has gone digital, from cameras to newspapers,E-book has become the new medium of reading. We can get any book from the net,all you need to do is download it and you have the whole book in just 2-3 Mb.Getting book had never been so easy before.
But is it really giving you the pleasure that reading a real book gave you?In my opinion E-Books can never give you the feeling that a real book can give you.Remember the time when the arrival of a new book would fill you with excitement. The smell of the new pages, the cute little book markers, the meticulously designed cover page and other illustrations.......these things can never be provided by e-books.Moreover collecting books and arranging them nicely in a shelf used to be a hobby of people in the olden times and they used to feel proud of their collection. But now even if you posses thousands of E-books it doesn't matter to anyone.
Last but not the least, the sharing of books among friends used to be a great feeling but now all that is over.....

I am sure you can still E-Gift them a book. However I'm at a loss here. Now I do enjoy reading a book that is actually in my hands and I have to physically turn the pages on. Though on my tablet there is an e-reader and I enjoy it as well.. So which do I prefer? I can't really say.
The convenience of the E-reader makes finding and purchasing books ten times easier then before, plus storage space when it comes to the home....
Though some e-reader's don't have easy to read screens, and those that are are expensive....

E-Books may be cheap but e-book readers are a bit expensive. Moreover, the feeling that you get by turning the pages of a book can't be felt by just sliding through text.Though e-book market is booming at a tremendous rate still nothing can match the joy of reading a real book,at least for me.

Real book is better because you can read from it whenever you want to read easily. where ebook is good and easy for carring in smartphones/tab but you don't have a smartphone/tab and have a pc then you cann't carry with you easily and want to read then you have to open ur pc and then you can read. so real book is always better for reading.

Storage and affordability are the two major factors favoring E-books but still quality reading can be obtained only from real books.

you are right. E-books can never replace the feeling of having a real book. I've downloaded ebooks but I don't get used to read it normally just like the real ones. My eyes can't tolerate the monitor's screen for long hours that's why I still prefer real books as much as possible.

In my opinion I prefer real books. It is common to read on computer, but it is a little tired to read too long time. And reading real books has a tradional feeling.

Real books are totally traditional whereas e-books are the latest which can be used to read some books that you won't like to be caught reading like 50 Shades Of grey!

Actually, I prefer real books, because the text is more clear, and we do not need battery or electricity. But on the other side, real books is not portable if I want to bring many books everywhere. So, I also like ebooks because of it is portable to laptop and ebooks is far more cheaper than real books. But, if there are a free books, I prefer free books than free ebooks (with same book titles). And also we can get real book from library.

But now libraries are going out of fashion.Young people now prefer nightclubs and discos over libraries.Other that I have such a poor eyesight that I can hardly read a text which is more than 10 cms away,so reading more e-books will only deteriorate my eyes.

I like holding physical books in my hand, but e-readers would be great for traveling.

Nothing beats reading for "real" books, in my opinion. There is just something about the experience, feeling its bulk in your hands, the smell of the paper, the occasional marks it makes on your face when you fall asleep while reading it. However, I'd have to say that e-books are more practical nowadays. It's more convenient since you can read e-books from your phone. E-books are also more affordable than the real books, sometimes you can even get them for free. E-books are great for the environment, since it doesn't use paper therefore you won't feel guilty about deleting it. You can also share e-books with your friends without worrying that you won't get it back. E-books doesn't take a lot of space, too.
I am an avid book lover and I will never stop being one. I will experience that rush of joy and excitement every time I see a book store, or open a new book. It took me a while to even contemplate about reading e-books, much less actually reading one. But I am definitely getting used to them and appreciating them more.

Technology is changing our lives rapidly and we must adapt to these changes.E-book is also a part of this change but still I prefer physical books over e-books because nothing is more amusing than reading a real book.

I have complete agreement as far as sentiments attached to reading a book is concerned. In fact I feel even though e books are becoming popular it will not do any harm to our real books as they have their secure place in the life of every reader. E books do not provide us with the craze a reader would find in a real book. And it is this craze that makes us cal for more and more books. E books have only become successful considering the ease with which we can access them. But in your leisure time if you wish to read something I doubt anyone would opt for e books as their choice.
