Mother killed 8 of her newborn babies

It is reported in the UK's Daily Mail online. It says her husband never knew she was pregnant. She also said that he didn't know so he is not being held due to lack of evidence. She says she gave birth alone and smothered the newborns. It is a horrific crime. I feel like crying for those tiny little babies. She has 2 grown daughters. A neighbor said her & her husband were "pillars of the community". Her first pregnancy was very difficult and she did not want any more children. She did have 2 though (the grown ones). The article quoted someone as saying she was "stout" and possibly the reason no one knew she was pregnant. She is a Nursing Assistant. In March, another French woman admitted to killing 6 of her newborn babies. Horrifying.

Why not go through abortion, rather than killing her babies after they were born. That was too cruel, and I can't imagine how would a mother would do something like that. Even an animal won't kill its new born. Where is her humanity nature? Probably she has mental problem, and needed to be under examination.

How could she do something like that? Did she think that the babies would turn out to be rapists like her father? I could never do that. So what is happening now? Is she in prison or did she plead insanity? The poor babies!

A person like this woman never should be called "mother", because a real mother takes care of her kids, protects them and helps them to grow up, to learn a lot of things, to be happy and to stay healthy. When a person is concious about a mental problem, so she should think about BEFORE having the kids and not have and kill the first, the second, the third....and continously repeat. Eight babies is definitly too much. I am wondering where was the fahter of the kids? Was it really necessary to wait so long and to get so far that 8 babies had to die? Nobody suspected earlier? Where is the human conscience?

She is crazy and insane...if she doesn't want to give a birth, then she could remove her pregnancy when it was 1-2 months only..when babies was not became a human being yet. She had more than 9 months to be pregnant, if she can't raise her babies, she can give them to some couples they don't have babies. I can't kill a chicken than i can't imagine how she can kill her babies...hix hix...

Has anyone explored the question of mental illnesses? It is completely possible she may have had an undiagnosed mental illness. I am in no way trying to defend her what she has done is unforgivable. There are animals who kill thier newborns...maybe this is a darker side of nature. I dont know, but it is horrific to do something like this. I havent read the story, so i dont know how people found out this was going on, thank god they did though! those poor babies! I cant even iamgine how you could kill anyone or anything, let alone your own newborns. To the vast majority of us somethin like this is unthinkable. You want to nurutre and protect your children, so this goes against every natural instant a mother has. I can understnad it, nor can i understand why she had two grown up children then killed the rest. Such a tragic story

i too was shocked when i read the news on yahoo. probably, it's a trauma she got first from her father's crime on her that caused her to do that. maybe she has been thinking that the baby is her father's child. it's awful though, why the babies have to suffer this trauma.

Oh! That's really twisted! I would have figured that if she didn't want to be pregnant she should have just got ligated. Further, I really hate people like that dad. Those people deserve to rot somewhere uncomfortable. But I wonder how the mother wasn't able to notice these sorts of things happening between the father and the daughter. Just makes me sick!

Because she was raped several times by her own father that's why she became mentally ill. The incident is very traumatic for a woman especially if it was done when she was young. Her father should be the one to blame for what happened to her and her babies. I cannot judge the woman because of what happened to her. And for the babies, I believed they are already angels in the heaven now.

Oh my! This is horrible and really shocking. Maybe she's psychologically ill and needs proper medical attention. The fact that she was raped just showed that she really has a big problem. No mother can ever kill her own children unless she has a mental problem.

8 newborn? omg is it possible?

How many times the people on earth should kill that dad by hanging ? One time? Ten times ? Hundred times? Unlimited times? May be people on this earth wont be able to quence their anger a little bit even by killing the culprit dad unlimited times. Im quite speechless.

It is terrible to hear that story. I think baby is mother's life, how did she manage to do that? And how did she dare to do that?

That is so wrong in all counts. She cannot use the fact that she waas raped that's why she killed her baby. A mistake wouldn't be corrected by another mistake. There are lots of childless couples who would love to take in her baby, or institutions who can care for them well. Besides, if she really don't wanna have a kid, there are lots of available contraceptives, I'm sure these are not foreign to her. She needs help. She is one sick lady.

That's really disturbing. I'm pretty sure she has psychological problems, considering the tragic past she had. She should see a pyschiatrist. I can't imagine even hurting my kids to bleed. It would even bug me a lot if a mosquito bit them, despite all my attempts to keep them protected. How come she is still at large, after having killed her previous newborns.

i'm hurt to heard that.mom like an angel in this earth, but why she did it?for us as a mother, let's keep and protect our children.
