Snakes taking pictures

Hey there everybody! There were snakes in our place ever since I was young. My family always kill the snakes and bury the head of it. Before we used to bury the head of the snake because we were told that if a snake dies then he will take pictures of you, and if the other snakes see his eyes they will see the pictures and search for you. Haha. I'm not sure if that's funny or true. Recently we still bury the head of the snake because it became something that we always do. So my question is. Is it true that snakes take pictures of you, or is it just a fake story that we heard and believed?
