Rohit Sharma, the WORST Player of this series.............

Why he was picked again. Totally useless and proved extremely well. Now its time for selectors to discard him. There is no point in taking someone for some good performance in home. A professional cricketer should play well in all conditions and situations. Here he is not playing pressure, and now a pressure free match, India leading the series, still he failed miserably. he is always given priority of Mumbai player. As he is from Mumbai selector have a tendency to pick more players from Mumbai, but every one cannot become Sachin. When he was introduced, everyone told that he is like Sachin, very much talented, superb shots.. But he has been a total failure in international level. He was unable to display his talent in needed situation. Look at virat he too got almost same amount of matches, but his stats is totally different. At least he should have performed in average level. He should not be given any more chance, kick him out.

Luk like u hate Rohit Sharma. "There was no need of picking Rohit in the team" -Why so? Yes he didn't performed in this series but this was not predictable before the team was selected. He has performed well in past so he was given chance. Even sachin sometime have a bad series. so?

I think Rohit has to be dropped now. There is nothing more to speak about it. Yes, he has talents, but he rarely uses them at the international level and it is time to let go of him. It is unfair on players like Pujara who have been waiting in the wings and performing consistently at the domestic level to not get a chance at this level. Cheers! Ram

Hello Ramaswamy, I agree selectors should drop him for further series and should view his performances in Ranji I think he needs some more practice as it looks he is not in his best form.Hope he finds his rhythm back soon till then he should be excluded from the team and someone who is playing good should be selected in place of him.

Yeah, Rohit will be dropped and someone else will get a chance. But don't write off a classy player like Rohit . He will make a come back. The Srilankan attack was just average and Rohit failed against them, just bad luck. Those who have seen him perform against better opposition will vouch for him and when he performs the same critics will be singing his praise.

Indeed Rohith Sharma proven to be the worst palyer for India in this series. He has been given ample of chances to prove himself but he just shattered it. This is the high time that the selectors drop him from the squad and ask him to prove himself in First class matches. At the same time I Dont want to miss such a talent also. Let him paly in First class matches so that he can gain some confidence and come back strongly in future.

Rohith Sharma has turned out as an bad player in the Indian cricket team. Indian captain MS Dhoni had given him enough chances but still he couldn't do much good for India. I hope the young opener Rahane will replace him soon. If he needs to continue in his position he need to become at his best. Lets hope he will be in good form in the coming matches

Rohit had played very well in the past. We should not blame him for his bad form in this series. He needs some time. Each and every player in the cricket field had undergone such situations. So Rohit should be given more chances. He has proved himself in the past and he will prove himself in future also.

Well what we know he turn out to be the badest player in any tournament. He is followed by VVS Laxman and Kaif. I think he is in twenty twenty too. Well that's good for him as if he does not improve much he will face the same fate of what VVS and Kaif had to face. They were kept out of team for long duration even if they played well at the domestic level. That's why we never saw VVS for so long until Sourav included him for tour at Australia where he scored well. Well Kaif got a chance too but he could not perform, so BCCI never look at him again for international tour. However he is captain of Uttar Pradesh Ranji Team. So its a good luck for him that he got such a good spot to lead to.
