sleepless

I have still to meet the person who had never experience a sleepless night. People try anything to fall asleep! What have you tried? I'm sure you have experience several times where you feel so sleepy but when you lie down in bed you just keep on turning all over or stare at the wall, and even to the point of exercising hoping you will get tired and fall asleep.

welcome to mylot. for getting good sleep -- we need tiresome work, exercise, good food and then relaxed mind. this part drink a cup of hot milk before going to bed.

for me if i do a good days job i do get sleep. If I sleep for longer time in the afternnon then i do not get sleep in the nights for the first few minutes. touch-wood. i do not have serious problem. good day

Several medical and non-medical experts have advised people on what to do to make one sleep! How many doctors have you seen? It still boils down to what works best for you! A lot of times it's easier to try staying awake than falling asleep!

i sleep very hard. i think that is because of the computer. i play in it. that is why i can not sleep. when i use it it is so. when i am not i sleep well. :)

yes. it is better to stop playing games at least one hour before going to bed. also drink a cup of milk to get good sleep.

Hello Benj, I don't feel sleepless at night.Hardly it happens when i don't feel sleepy after lying down on the bed.To get good sleep at night one must do some good physical work in the day and should not take a nap in the day time.

sjvg i think both of us sail in the same boat. yes. if i do a lot of work i get sleep. otherwise no.

if I can not sleep at night what will I do is online or watching movies on the computer. Sometimes reading a book can help me to fall asleep. I have some books I put beside my pillow so I can take them everytime I have insomnia.

I have had this problem but I have no idea how to deal with it. The maximum hours I have been continuously awake was 41 hrs and that was last month. It was awful. I did not like it. But then when I slept it was for 10 hours to cover up that. have a good day

Oh keeping awake for 41 hours at a stretch. Body will become totally tired. happy you slept for 10 hours after that. normally to get good sleep -- we need exercises, games, work. we should not keep worries in mind.

Staying awake for 41 hours is not healthy. You can never cover up for lost sleeping time. Our body needs to rest everyday or it will just breakdown just like a car cannot continuously run for a long time without shutting down the engine. I hope you give yourself time to rest and rejuvenate. Good day to you too :)
