India outplayed Srilanka and Won the series 4-1,,,,India won by 20 runs

Yes it was a superb series keeping apart that second match. everyone played well, Irfan pathan has made a good come back. Batting department was also performing well. virat once again proved his capability. Virat also got the man of the series. I think its time for virat to show his caliber in test cricket. Next tour is against NZ, that too in home so we can expect some good performance from Indian players. But we have next ODI series in next year only, so we have to wait a long to become number one in ODI rankings..

It was a comprehensive performance from India except for the one blip they had in the second match when their batting completely collapsed. I think the batsmen led the charge in this series and were simply too good for the Lankans. It was great to see Pathan doing well again in this series with both bat and ball and that to me is the biggest gain from the series. Of course, India is back into the number 2 spot in the world which is a just reward for the team. Cheers! Ram

I think team India is in good form and mostly all the players are in good form. I think Rohit Sharma should be given a break and then picked after that. Most probably he will come after getting form in domestic matches. I think Irfan Pathan is in good form and he is a very good allrounder. I think Thirimanne and Mendis really played very well. I think it is always good to see matches that are not one sided.

I watched this match. I thought that Sri Lanka would win. They needed only 21 runs from 26 balls. But they lost all the wickets. Irfan's bowling was good. I think he would continue the same form in the future also.

It will be a real boost for our Indian team ahead of the T 20 world cup which is also scheduled in Sri Lanka. Last match also got some vital innings from Manoj and Dhoni. Kohli and Gambhir have proved themselves for quite some time now. They are all set for the T 20 cup. You rightly mentioned for Rohit. He needs to get into form as quickly as possible now. His failure is being shadowed from team's victory. I hope he makes most out the opportunities he is being given with. Anyways we should all be optimistic and should not get over tensed for some loop holes.

Well its finally over. The match went fine and they won, that's a good comeback after a dismal performance in one match. Well it could had been a clean sweep if they had taken the second one day seriously, but they took it lightly after winning the first match and lost the series by just 1 match from clean sweep. I think with this India will not be in first spot as expected but I think they will cover this up in next one day cricket series, I think it is with Pakistan. I Just think match between India and Pakistan would be more interesting to watch than any other series, and if they don't perform in that match then who remembers this victory. If they loses with a well known historic rival team people will remember more than losing will a less rival team. In this match Gambir, Tiwary, and Dhoni played well, its bowler contribution to for its victory. The score was not much big and could have been easily scored if they had not bowled well. They must be credited too, Irfan, Zaheer and other 8 bowlers who bowled brilliantly to keep the run scoring ticking down. That do created a lot of pressure for them at last moment causing them to lose some wickets fast. Next would be twenty twenty, and waiting for Yuvi come back after his fight with lung cancer. Let his good form continue as he played at World Cup Tournament. He told his followers that he had learned a lot of lessons and he will come with a bang and we are all awaiting for his come back with a lot of feelings. 20-20 tournament is going to a big as Yuvi is coming back after a long back. I hope he is still in touch with the game.
