A girl who disappeared on the way to the theater (true crime story)

I would like to share another true crime story from my country. This story took place in the 1970s in the city where I grew up. A girl was going to watch a play at the local theater and she and her friend were going to meet there.
Her boyfriend drove her to the city center and dropped her of. The place where he dropped her of was quite close to the theater and it would take about 10 minutes to walk from that place to the theater, but the girl never showed up at the theater and no one has seen her since that day. The police has never been able to find the truth about her disappearance.
It could have been her own choice to disappear because she wanted to start a new life somewhere else. A stranger could have killed her or abducted her on the way to the theater or her boyfriend could have killed her and lied about driving her to into town.
The police has considered about the last option of course, but they have never been able to prove that her boyfriend was lying. Her body has never been found so if he or someone else killed her, her body has been hidden extremely well.

It's a mystery, and it will be very difficult to guess what happened to the missing girl. There is a big possibility of either of those theories you mentioned could have happened. But still there must be a proof or even a witness to verify its fact. I am thinking though, that wanting to start a new life is not one of the reason of her disappearance. For sure something cruel have happened to her.

The police share your opinion. They also think that something happened to girl and that it wasn't her own choice to disappear. I think that her boyfriend could have killed her. The police have asked him many questions since he was the one who knew her the best and the last person who saw he, but they have been able to prove that he had something to do with her disappearance. Of course it is also possible that a she was killed or abducted by another person who knew her her or a stranger.

There should be a really good reason why she wanted a new life. In that case, I don't find it practical for any one especially those who are normal people, aren't rich, powerful, or done some crime for her to run away from her life. Probably the boyfriend might have raped and killed her. She could have been chopped or buried in concrete walls. We can't be sure of it. May her soul finds peace.

I am not sure. It could be very likely that she just left for a new life. Maybe her family life wasn't what she wanted and she wanted to get away from it. Or she could have been killed by her boyfriend. He may have dropped her off but followed her on foot after sometime and killed her. Who is to say.

That is another possibility. Her boyfriend would have followed her on foot after he dropped her off. It is scary to think about the fact that something could have happened to her on the way to the theater, because it happened the city where I was born and I know the area where she walked extremely well. The police believe that she didn't run away. they think someone killed her, but they have never been able to prove anything. Her body has never been found, and that makes it even harder to prove that she has been killed.

It is very difficult to say what happened to that girl. God only may the real fact.
Girls can avoid those kind of things to go play in nights like that. It is so dangerous.

Woah! That happens?! Well, to be honest.. i dont think it is right to charge her boyfriend for that to consider that her body was nowhere to be found. I dont think thats fair.

As far as I know her boyfriend hasn't been charged. The police were very interested in him since he was the last person to see her and the person that she had a close relationship to, but they haven't been able to prove that he had something to do with her disappearance. The fact that her body hasn't been found has made things very difficult for the police. They think that she might been buried somewhere, but if that is the case, she has been hidden extremeluy well since she hasn't been found for all those years.
