Help I have a computer that has xp but the task bar has gone missing! HELP !

I have a computer I have been rebuilding and for some odd reason the task bar has gone missing and I can't figure out how to get to system control without the task bar The computer I am working on is slow and the search won't come up. Do any of you know any sites that I can download something to help me get the task bar back up and running? Or can anyone tell me how to get to the system restore without the help of search? I can't get even a sliver of the task bar to come up so can anyone help me? I am running windows xp. Thanks to all of you for what ever help you can give me.
