We may not all be Olympians, but we might be able to learn good health practices from favorite athletes. This is a cool article. What's your best health tip? Mine is just to drink plenty of water daily.

Hi,
In addition to drinking lots of water, I have incorporated cucumbers in my diet. They have water content from what I know and I have noticed that eating them before lunch helps me to avoid overeating as they fills me up well. Moreover, they help to keep the skin rejuvenated and looking healthy. Also, I am exercising a minimum of 30 minutes at least 5 days a week. This helps me maintain my energy levels and stay in shape.I am always open to learning newer ways of maintaining good health and I will be following this post to see the responses that come in.

Oh I love cucumbers as well, and right now we have an abundance as we have them growing in the gardens with great vigor. I have had to eat them everyday almost as to not let them spoil. Plus trying to get the rest of the family here to eat them as well. They do fill me up too. I think the excersize you do helps in your health as well. Normally I hate to excersize as a form of excersize alone so walking, or hiking would be better for me. To each their own though.

Oh wow a garden!I wish we had open space and not building after building here. We have few plants on the terrace though in pots only but cannot grow the bigger plants that give fruits or vegetables. Great to know you love cucumbers as well. I do free hand exercises on most days and sometimes yoga as my guru has taught me.

One thing I do love about living here is the gardens, I would be lost without them now I guess having had them for so long. To many buildings around is not good, there should be some kind of open space to grow something at least once a year. My relatives in Fl have two growing seasons, lucky them. It cause it's so hot there at various times. I have one pot that is growing mini tomatoes and now I put some blueberry plants in some of the biggest pots too. Hope to get more fruit out of them next year as this year wasn't so bountiful with them. Hand exercises sound interesting, my hands go numb alot which is annoying when I just get up in the morning.Yoga is very good, good for you having a Guru to help you on that. I do know someone in NYC that teaches it and also ballet classes.

Plenty of water daily is very important and a very good health tip. Cleanliness is a good one too. And maybe even exercise. Exercise makes for a healthy body and a glad heart. What do you think of that? I think that these three things are very important and should be done daily.

Yes, all of those are great to have. I try to practice them daily. I have to fess up on the exersize though, nothing huge on that. I did try to loose weight awhile back and was doing good with the exercise however it only last maybe a year or so until I actually lost some pounds. If I didn't hurt so much while exersizing I would do it more often.

A 30 minute walk a day would be good. Weights are important too.

Drinking plenty of water is of great help in maintaining your systems in the right manner. From my side I would like to add the importance of awareness regarding proper diet and sports. We should be aware of what we are eating and its nutritional value. Biologically speaking, having an idea of what gives us what develops every bit of us. Also choosing an outdoor sports like badminton and devoting some time to it could well help us in maintaining our good routine keeping us hail and hearty.

Yes a sport is always something to look forward wether or not you just like to play for competition or for play and nothing more. I'm not the competitive kind, on purpose anyways so don't need to be the best at it. As long as you have fun with it then thats all that counts.
