It is so frustrating to read and hear the weather reports these days. "Oh, its gonna be a hot one, near 100 and dry as a bone." Okay, fine, that's been the norm around here.
It is so nice when you hear a weather report on the radio or read it in the paper and can smile and relish in the fact that, the predictors of our weather reports were wrong. Yep, that's right, wrong.
This morning, I read the weather report and saw that it was suppose to be dry today and not a cloud in the sky. Well, I am happy to report, I went outside to take out the trash and it is actually very cloudy and beginning to rain.
I love it when the weather men/women are wrong. :)

I hear you about the weather predictors. They get paid a ton of money and they are wrong often. It is just their best guess, but God or Mother Nature has something else in mind. Enjoy your rain. We have had a little this last week. Not too much, though.

That trick does not work for us anymore. Hubby cleans all the cars with a dry wash product. When they get dusty he just wipes them off.

I will say that they are forever getting the weather forecast wrong.I go outside to see what it looks like its going to do, as I trust my judgement rather than what they are saying on the tv.
I know that the weather people can not get it right all the time, but some of the time would be nice, lol.
My husband put the washing out to dry and then an hour later it was raining really hard, never mind though, its all had a second rinse.

In my time of life, I have known a time when we only knew what the weather would be like in the next 3 days. But since technoledgy has change things, no one can appear to predict the weather correctly. Yes I smile when they get it wrong. But as I live in the southern hemisphere, I can't wait for warmer weather. But not too hot.

Oh, I am willing to join this club. I love it a lot when the weather people say one thing and later something else happens. It is so so hot here, that I really start dreaming of some rain. We haven't had rains since probably longer than a month the temperatures are so hot, that I feel like melting.
I would love at least once our TV's get wrong when they tell us to not expect any rain.

It has been extremely warm here as well. In fact, they have stated that we have hit record breaking temps recently. Highs in the 100s is highly unusual for this area. I love being outside, but when its that hot, forget it, I'll hide in the house with the computer and air conditioner.

Same here. Very hot, not even a drop.
It seems that you are lucky since the rain finally came, but in here the situation seems hopeless. The most worrying part is that the agricultural cultures are truly endangered by the dry weather.

So far the weather people have been wrong twice now. Which just makes me laugh even more. I am so glad to see them getting their "predictions" wrong. :) Finally in fall and seeing cooler temperatures, its such a nice change. However, we are still reaching 90 degree weather.

Farmers and the like had it right before the whole technical age. They watched the many creatures around them and the plants themselves for signs of weather changes. Today, those things are still used, but many people don't know about them. Truly amazing.
