hi charm,
I rarely buy branded clothes most of the time they are on sale
My fashion statement doesn't go along what is new today
As long as I am comfortable that will be fine with me
Welcome to mylot!

I don't usually buy branded clothes and I don't think that it is neccesary to buy branded clothes to be trendy. You can mix clothes in unusual way and get a great result, sometimes you just have to be a little creative and use your imagination. I have many different kinds of clothes. Some of my clothes I have bought in second hand shops and I combine them with new clothes or clothes that I have received from friends. I know that some people only wear the "right" brands, but those things have never been important to me. I wear the clothes that I like and I don't think much about the brands.

I agree 100%! I love clothes and they definitely do do something to your confidence & personality. I never pay a lot of money for clothes, especially not *super trendy* clothes. I like to keep it simple but I do like shoes a lot too. I don't really care about brand. I care more about how it looks, the style, and of course the fit! Happy myLotting!

I think it depends on what kind of community we talk about. Generally, it doesn't matter... I mean, you can't buy style with money, and you could be trendy with cheaper or second.hand clothes, too, if you know what to buy and how to mix them. But if you live in a community of stuck-up and rich people, no matter how great you dress up, you are not going to be considered trendy, because they are going to ask or get to know the brands and laugh at you or look down on you if it's not Chanel...

Sometimes I buy branded clothes, they have better quality and I can wear them for years without losing their form. Also, there are some specific brands that suit my body for certain type of clothes, for example diesel jeans make me look thinner. It's very important to check the quality before buying. However, I buy many cheap clothes that aren't branded as well. Especially my summer clothes are not expensive at all so that I don't feel bad when I wear them at the beach!

I completely agree with you!
I like to shop at the mall but, my budget doesnt always allow for it, i think going to ross or even walmart and kmart or target. other small shops.
You can find things other places and mix and match what you buy at one store with another, you might come up with a really nice look.

You dont really need branded clothes to look good. Branded clothes have extremely high prices for no reason, just because a t-shirt has a brand name itll cost more than the same t-shirt without the brand name. I think that its not the brand but the clothes themselves that are trendy.

Not necessarily. If you're confident on your own skin, everything will be flawless. It's on how we carry ourselves and the attitude that goes with it that makes us beautiful even in the most unglamorous clothes.
