Hello Myloters!!
right now I am in a middle of a trip in The United States of America. It is a Very long trip in which I spend many times on the roads, Traveling from place to place, so I usually stay in different motels.
Most of the motels serve what they call as "continental Breakfast", which is usually cerial, toasts with butter, jam and somtimes with cream cheese, tea and coffee, and some muffins.
At the first place, I actually enjoyed these breakfasts. they offered me a richer menu than my regular breakfasts at home. However, 3 weeks of "continental Breakfasts" are too much. Starting every morning with the same boring non-nutritios breakfast is very annoying.
So What about you?
Have you ever "lived" on continental breakfasts? How long do you think you could start your mornings with continental breakfasts consecutively?
Thank you for sharing!!!

It is lovely that you are in the middle of a trip in the United Kingdom. I eat a vegan diet and don't eat French sticks anymore due to teeth not being up to chewing the crust of it. I like to drink fruit juice and I don't drink tea or coffee. I suggest you get some vitamin pills. I like to stay in a place I can do self catering. Good luck with the rest of your trip.

I'm not really a fan of continental breakfast. I like breakfast to be heavy because it's the first meal of the day and it ought to be able to energize me. I like a full meal for breakfast. I can stomach 3 days of continental breakfast but not for a week and more. I would try to have my breakfast somewhere else if that's the case.

In general I'm not really a breakfast person, so having something simple like a muffin or peice of toast would be more than enough for me. I know if you're used to having bacon, eggs, homefries and the whole works for breakfast, continental breakfasts would get old really fast. I just like that they are free, or atleast they make it seem free.

Most of the continental breakfasts I've had at hotels are just donuts and orange juice and things like that. Sometimes they have cereal and other things as well. One time I went to a hotel that let us go to the diner and we were able to order whatever we wanted pancakes eggs hashbrowns bagels you name it. It was awesome.

I guess having the same kind of meal everyday would really make you fed up (sorry for the pun) Well, seriously, I myself wouldn't be thrilled of having the same type of breakfast each and every day, especially a continental breakfast. Although I like having this if I'm craving for a very light breakfast especially if the coffee's good. But I'd say two consecutive ones is enough for me. I'll be looking for something else on the third day.

I was actually on a trip to view colleges a few months ago, and we traveled out of our state many times. To be honest, many of the hotels were commercial ones like the holiday inn, or more like the case western hotels.
Eating there everyday was plain awful. Though the breakfast does help, it wasn't something i was expecting. There weren't even hot pancakes out until much later.
Simply said, it's way easier to go out to the nearest fast-food restaurant.
